A few hours before Lay Rest To The Wicked…
“Quite the pleasant treat, through the sadden days. Anonymous Xtreme Wrestling, you’ve made our day with the history you’ve held. From your many champions to your historic moments that nobody will ever forget. Though I wish I could tell you a story of myself holding a moment that is etched in history, my time here was short and wasn’t enough to tell everyone my story.” The voice echoes, though softly, as the visuals opens to Liam Bradley. With the signature fur coat standing out from the blackened backdrop behind Liam, he keeps his head low as he speaks along.
“The last time you’ve seen me here, I faced off against Vincent Draven, and although I put that man through hell and back in a hard fought match… I never ended up with the win, and I never ended up being in a Main Event match for that AXW Undisputed Championship.” He raises his head up, looking into the lens of the camera. “But AXW had the respect to invite me back, for one more match, focusing on the future and the past of AXW itself. This match will contain Duke Kosloff, Sang Hyun Lee and Wellington Dunne. Now, when I speak of these names, I speak lightly due to the fact that only one of these three was somewhat successful. Nonetheless, it’s an honor to fight on… the undercard to a part time fool, a egotistical prick and a man who I fought and know will be the next and last AXW Undisputed Champion.”
“Speaking of that Undisputed Championship, tonight I get to face the last champion before Anthony Caffrey took his place at the throne… Duke Kosloff. See, Duke, I’ve paid my attention to what and where you’ve been doing business and quite frankly I don’t see where all this hype over you comes from.” Liam says, shaking his head from side to side. “You’ve been an AXW Undisputed Champion and the first and only AIW Asylum Island Champion, though the challenges towards you have been… meh… so it’s no secret you’ve taken championships in nearly every place you’ve gone to. But i beg to differ, you’ve been great, all we have to do is look at your run though End of Days for the last few years. You’ve done so much and surprised so many, and with a bigger surprise being when you beat Nate Pierce to become AXW Undisputed Champion, but after seeing what Death Trap was able to do with you... I’m sure anyone can handle you, beat you and make a mockery of you.” With the confidence in his voice, he leans into the camera lens and winks.
“Then there’s Wellington Dunne, one many would call the former lapdog of one Anthony Caffrey. Your tenure in AXW... was nothing more than complete shock value. I don’t know of anyone in AXW who has had a track record quite like yours, who was your only win over? The washed up Anomoly, and that you couldn’t do on your own when you had help from the only faction that was somewhat successful to stay alive with The AVA.” Liam slightly chuckles at the mention of said stable. “You’ve lost each and every single match there could have been, you’ve lost at every title shot you’ve had, you even lost to the one match you made for Supremacy... You lost in your own match creation in front of millions at a Global Event! How embarrassing, how pathetic. Your reputation may have carried to AWF, but at least you’re sort of fighting in the same league that matches your skill set... With Copycat and Jordan Cassidy, the only ones i’ve ever seen you beat.” He laughs at the mockery one Dunne makes him look.
“And finally, Sang Hyun Lee, the only man who could die and then come back to life again. How many times has it been? Once? Twice? How the hell do you do it?” He questions, raising an eyebrow in confusion. “Sang, it’s no secret that going into this match, nobody knows who you are because tell me... What has made you a success? Have you won a championship of sorts? Have you been rememberable for a certain moment in your tenure? To that... Yes, you have. You’re famous for being the man being killed by Duke Kosloff, coming back to life, and then disappearing off the face of the earth once again when you screwed up.”
“All these faces, all these talents... and i say that openly because some of them, well, they’re not worth being mentioned in the same category as the word talent. Tonight, I come back and make a fool out of everyone and show all of you why I was the Villain, why i was over looked and not being given my chance. I am Liam Bradley, the very reason you come to Lay Rest To The Wicked and all of you will lay rest to The Villain.”
“Long Live the fucking Villain... One last time.”
