Onslaught #2
The IWA goes to Paris, France for the second episode of Onslaught for the IWA. For those of the living who choose to come to this show, bring weapons. Paris is the seat of power for necromancers that rule the region for Carthage with a dead fist. Beware..
Opening
The lights in the arena go dim, and though a couple of screams are heard from a few living fans sitting by themselves amongst a sea of intelligent undead are devoured or otherwise harmed, the arena is as silent as the tomb.
Once the song is finished, the lights turn back on and we go down to the commentary desk where sit Jane Coughlin and Neil Dizon.
Coughlin: "A big night tonight, Neil."
Dizon: "Has anyone heard if KD Bacchus has made it here tonight or not?"
Coughlin: "I have not heard of him arriving yet. I'm thinking that if he were wise, that he would not come."
Dizon: "Just like the challenge laid down for Robin Hood, do you think that Bacchus can deny the challenge offered by Valora Salinas? He will come of course!"
Coughlin: "Then he had better have an iron clad escape plan ready to get out of dodge fast before the hammer comes down to bring him in! Britain wants the old Royals brought in to be executed in a bad way and Nebiryau wants to exact vengeance for his death back in Rome."
Dizon: "That's a lot of axes to grind there. I think if he comes, we won't see Bacchus leave here alive. On the plus side, he'll have a lot of company here in the area once he's dead."
Coughlin: "Very funny. I don't think that he'll be meeting his end here in Carthage. He'll be flown back to London or even up to the flying castle of the Dark Warlock."
Dizon: "Too true. You know now that I really think on it, KD Bacchus should come tonight! It's been over five years, but I know exactly why he will come."
Coughlin: "Oh yeah? How so?"
Dizon: "Though Bacchus had blamed Nebiryau for being the one pulling the strings, it was Valora who used the knife to kill Erica Kelly during the fighting in Burgas, Bulgaria! That murdering bitch has to pay for what she did!"
Neil Dizon looks nervously at one of the British Imperial Guards walking by and looking in his direction. Jane Coughlin waves at him merrily.
Coughlin: "Oh hi, sir! Neil's just a bit nervous after the journey here from London with all of the undead that are outside clawing at the car."
Jane pulls Neil into a passionate kiss, their headsets clashing in the violence of the action. The guard nods, knowing full well the danger every living being had in the journey to what was once Paris without protective spells.
Jane Coughlin releases Neil Dizon as the guard walks away.
Coughlin: "I know you liked her back then. Most of the guys in the staff did at the time, but don't get yourself killed over a memory!"
Dizon: "Right. Shall we discuss the rest of the show? Tony Manzell finds himself in deep trouble again after it was discovered that he managed to slip several wrestlers out to join Anderson in the ASA. Zareth Korbin, Devereaux's guard dog, have drawn the duty of dealing with him."
Coughlin: "Manzell has proven lucky so far after protesting that he's really just a manager and talent scout for the IWA as hired by the Crown."
Dizon: "Yeah, that luck's about to run out. Zareth's been on a roll of late in trying to impress Queen Devereaux. I don't think it's going to end tonight."
Coughlin: "Our opening match is Xerios Kubisa against Brice St Vient. From going to nearly getting a World title shot to jerking the curtain, Brice St Vient has fallen far."
Dizon: "Xerios is hungering for a solid win after losing out to Clare Miller. I don't think he'll be denied tonight. Speaking of Clare, wasn't she booked tonight?"
Coughlin: "She was, but I heard that she joined with Candice Kingston and Jessica Tendonin in searching for Terel Walker, who has gone missing."
Dizon: "That's too bad. Someone taking his place against the Crown's Ghost Admiral in his debut?"
Coughlin: "A young man by the name of Iro Waters. Apparently he has had parts of his body replaced by cybernetics after the Stone Rain five years ago. He's looking for some answers in this dangerous world."
Dizon: "If he's come looking for answers, then he's come to the right place. He might not like what he finds, but he will find them."
Coughlin: "Hungry John takes on Lenneth. I have heard that this John Smith is a vampire, but does he know who his sire is I wonder? He may not know his own capabilities to their fullest."
Dizon: "He also might owe his loyalty to either Druscilla or Nebiryau."
Coughlin: "Good point."
Dizon: "Zolothach takes on Roux Delacroix in a Cold Iron Cage. So Roux is some Queen of some Fey Kingdom in Ireland? She hates Queen Devereaux and wishes to bring her down. So her pet, Zolothach, has been dispatched to deal with her. The same crazy chick who tangled with her in Tirradyn Hardcore Wrestling. The same Queen who had her ordered to be executed and even carried out the sentence in one of those things where you set the prisoner up to die over time instead of watching them die. Sounds like a mistake. Why the Cold Iron? What is Cold Iron?"
Coughlin: "It's a pure iron instead of an alloy. This is said to be an allergy to those of fey blood and can harm them in the same way pure silver does a werewolf."
Dizon: "So it can harm Roux, but is Zolothach fey? She wasn't born that way, but she does worship Cthulhu and puts out some wicked strange powers. Does that count?"
Coughlin: "No idea. We will have to wait until she touches the cage to see. That leaves us with j0ker and Kronin. When Kronin defended his World title way back in Cologne, the match was interrupted by monsters that had made it into the ruined arena. Both Kronin and j0ker fought as a team to defeat them, but not without cost. Kronin took some mortal wounds, but chose to continue the match. j0ker wins and Kronin dies in the ring. Then, Kronin returns and the pair is scheduled to fight again. This time in Burgas. The fight is cancelled when both get involved in the fighting against Carthage. They are scheduled again in Rome and once again, there is no match as both men remain involved in outside battles instead of the ring. Now, we are at relative peace, and so the match will happen tonight!"
Dizon: "A real match has been a very long time coming. Looks like we're ready to begin with both Xerios Kubisa and Brice St Vient already in the ring."
Gift of Empire
Outside of Paris, Valora Salinas stands with "Lady Apathy" Elizabeth Devereaux and Nebiryau. A mammoth arena floats gently about six feet in the air nearby.
Salinas: "What is this? I need to get ready for my match against Bacchus."
Elizabeth hands Valora an envelope with a smile.
Devereaux: "I have this for you. Created and owned by a number of false identities in Mexico, you are the General Manager."
Valora looks from Elizabeth to Nebiryau in confusion before she opens the envelope to read the contents.
Salinas: "TenochtitlanNative Wrestling? What is this? Are you trying to get rid of me?"
Nebiryau: "Not at all my dear. We are giving you something great! TNW's very first show is in Mexico in the Silver Linings Coliseum! This venue flies through the air, not very quickly so it will take about two weeks to get to Mexico from Africa, but the Mexican government is excited to have a wrestling federation based in their own country."
Salinas: "So, do I have a roster?"
Devereaux: "No, but if you would like to recruit one. You have my full support. This venue will be full before you even leave though. It normally holds forty-five thousand people, but it will hold many times more than that.
Salinas: "Do we need to export fans to, wait. This TNW is a cover isn't it? This all a big Trojan Horse?"
Devereaux: "Yes! It is your reward for your loyal service! You will be given five necromancers, a wide number of Nebiryau's children, and a seemingly endless supply of intelligent undead to bring with you to claim Mexico and more if you wish, and can, as your own. There is also..."
Nebiryau motions to the arena and a fifty gallon steel drum floats down from the shipping entrance. He pops it open with another wave and grins as Valora runs her hand through the contents in wonder. It is full of little black spheres.
Salinas: "Is this what I think it is?"
Nebiryau: "Humanoid and other monsters created by my own hand. All tailored to Mexican mythology going back to the Aztecs and the Olmecs. Several hundred of these barrels are onboard. A simple spell from a scroll with unleash them all once the barrels are unloaded on the ground."
Nebiryau hands Valora a scroll with a smile.
Nebiryau: "The Three Empires can become Four. All you need do is accept."
Valora nods with a smile before wrapping her arms around Elizabeth in a tight embrace.
Salinas: "Thank you, my Mistress. I will return to Mexico as IWA World champion and Ruler of my own empire!"
Xerios vs Brice
As mentioned a bit ago, both Xerios Kubisa and Brice St Vient are in the ring already, the Commentary having talked through Stephan Theobald's announcing.
Dizon: "This might be a quick match. Xerios has so much power behind his moves and Brice is on the downswing after losing to Valora."
Coughlin: "Don't count Brice out yet. He did make it this far."
Without making much sense to anyone watching, Brice locks up with Xerios. This only lasts a few seconds before Brice is thrown from the center of the ring to nearly half way down the aisle.
Dizon: "You see? So much pow-what's this?"
Coughlin: "Valora Salinas stepping over the railing from where she was in the crowd?"
Valora helps Brice St Vient to his feet, but then keeps her hands fastened to his bare shoulders with a wicked laugh. Brice realizes what's going on and tries to break free, but quickly his eyes roll up into the back of his head and Valora drops him to the floor. She looks to the ring at Xerios.
Salinas: "I claim my Destiny tonight. After years of wait, and so I need my strength up. You look like good seconds!"
Xerios cracks his knuckles in the ring with a grin.
Kubisa: "Come try it, little bitch."
Dizon: "Ok. On the scale of one to ten, ten being the most stupid. How stupid is Xerios thinking he can compete with Valora?"
Coughlin: "Fifteen."
Valora slides into the ring to be picked up and put into a bear hug by Xerios, who just laughs.
Kubisa: "You will soon hear the sounds of your own bones breaking."
Salinas: "Not before you feel your life draining away..."
Xerios looks down to see Valora's hands planted firmly on his sides. His eyes go wide as the red coloration of his skin pales to pink.
Kubisa: "No..."
A single headbutt breaks the bear hug and sends Xerios crashing to the mat. Valora spits on him and leaves the ring for the back.
Dizon: "I don't think either of them are going to get up. Do we call this a draw? Or can we announce Valora as the winner?"
Coughlin: "Draw."
Dizon: "No, wait!"
Brice St Vient gets back to his feet, staggering toward the ring. As he rolls in, Xerios Kubisa stands back up as well, though he still looks a bit more pink than red. Brice slams an elbow into Xerios's midsection to cause him to double over, and then-
Coughlin: "Icarus!"
Dizon: "Well...Half Icarus. He didn't get Xerios up to the full vertical suplex height."
Brice goes for the cover right away.
One...Two...Three!!
Coughlin: "Valora thought she could just totally bust this match by feasting on both men, but they both still rose long enough for Brice to walk out of it with the win!"
Dizon: "This is probably the reason that St Vient won in the first place."
The Punishment of Manzell
Theobald: "This next match is scheduled for one fall! Featuring first the challenger, weighing in at two hundred and seventy-five pounds...Zareth Korbin!"
"Hall of The Mountain King" by Apocalpytica begins as Zareth Krobin walks out from the back with an arrogant smile and swinging his warhammer around by the strap. He strides down to the ring with a chuckle at the cheers from the fans...cheering fans because the light above the ring says to do so.
Coughlin: "Zareth comes down to the ring in the thoughts that he's going to have an easy match, but Manzell's record isn't showing him at losing very many of these matches."
Dizon: "This is worse than having a recruit fail at a match. Five wrestlers have managed to leave the roster and join up with Apex Wrestling! Tony Manzell is one of the talent agents and is suspected in having a hand in this. Especially when one of the missing talents is Frietag, who was often seen WITH Manzell!"
Theobald: "And his opponent, weighing in at two hundred and thirty-four pounds...Tony Manzell!"
"Cigaro" by System of a Down begins as Tony Manzell walks out from the back. The fans begin booing him as he walks down to the ring, taking their cue from the signal above the ring that says to do so. Tony gets into the ring and begins warming up, eyeing the warhammer as Zareth puts it away.
Dizon: "I don't see this going over very well for Tony this week."
Coughlin: "He will have to be rather wily to escape."
Zareth begins the match by drilling Tony with a hard right hand that nearly flattens him. He continues with a bodyslam and stomps on Tony's face and chest with the heel of his boot without mercy. He goes to pick Tony up, but is dragged down into a small package for the cover!
One...Two...Zareth kicks out!
Both men are back up, but Zareth look angry at the near fall on him. He swings for a roundhouse, but misses as Tony slips around behind him for a bridging belly to back suplex for another pinfall attempt!
One...Two...Thr-Zareth kicks out!
Coughlin: "Zareth thought to dominate, but Tony almost winning twice in a matter of seconds there."
Dizon: "It's only going to make Zareth mad enough to go grab that bloody warhammer of his,"
Indeed, Zareth stands up, and starts making his way to this warhammer, intent on finishing the match with a bloody note. Tony rushes across the ring, kicking the warhammer to the floor, but Zareth shoves him chest first into the corner with a shouted curse in Latin.
Zareth grabs Tony by the hair and is going to slam Tony's face into the top turnbuckle, when he catches a back kick low blow to force him to release. Tony turns around, grabs Zareth, and hot shots him onto the turnbuckles. He pulls Zareth up, lifting him up from behind, turns, and delivers an atomic drop before bouncing off the ropes to level him with a running forearm shot.
Tony slides in for the cover, but gets swatted away with a backhand that catches him upside the head. Zareth rises up, dragging Tony up, and planting him nearly through the mat with a power bomb. Zareth laughs, going for the cover.
Dizon: "If Tony was smart, he'd stay down now."
One...Two...Th-Tony kicks out.
Zareth slaps the mat in anger, yelling at the ref for making such a slow count. He turns his attention back to Tony and gets poked in the eyes. Tony gets up while Zareth stands in agony, puts him into a straightjacket position, and-
Coughlin: "DJ McBratty! Tony goes for the cover and hooks the leg!"
Dizon: "What the heck?"
One...Two...Three!
Coughlin: "Tony has done it! He's defeated both Zolothach and Zareth!"
Dizon: "Does this mean so long as one can back up their words, that they can snub their nose at the Powers that Be if they so choose?"
Coughlin: "That's what it sounds like, but don't try it. You can't back it up."
Dizon: "Oh yeah. Almost forgot myself there for a moment."
Tony Manzell only celebrates his win for a moment before heading to the back very quickly. Zareth grabs his warhammer from ringside is starts giving chase when he nearly runs into Tabitha Osborne in the aisle. She giggles at him.
Osborne: "I thought you were going to defeat him where I could not. Eh, Zareth?"
Zareth hefts the warhammer with murderous purpose.
Korbin: "Out of the way, bitch! He got lucky!"
Tabitha leans back against the ring railing with a giggle, feeling the hands of zombies on her back.
Osborne: "Captain of the Guard and some lowly Talent Agent gets 'lucky' in the ring. I wonder if it's luck or if it's really because said Captain can't really hack it as Captain? Maybe someone else should have the position. Not me, mind, I'm more of the terrorize and assassinate type. But someone better than you, maybe this zombie guy behind me?"
The zombie in question beams at being mentioned so highly of, that is until Zareth buries his warhammer into the zombie's torso after turning his head into so much mush. He looks to Tabitha.
Korbin: "You need to watch yourself before I crush you too. You have to face Roux Delacroix later...I'm sure you'll lose that one too. You a pathetic crazy bitch, Tabitha. We are all-"
Tabitha has her ritual dagger in her hand in a flash, her amused expression gone a crazed deadly.
Osborne: "Call me by my filthy mortal name one more time. Come on...I dare you to."
Korbin: "Zolothach, maybe we can settle our differences in the ring? A training session in front of others."
Osborne: "Not today, as you say, I get to deal with the Queen of Thorns one last time..."
Korbin: "I'll set things up with the Queen. Once I defeat you, you'll be my little pet, and I will be the Queen's prized follower..."
Tabitha shrugs, heading to the back with a long giggle. Zareth shakes his head and follows.
Dizon: "Queen Devereaux's people are willing to kill each other over her favor."
Coughlin: "It's common in the Court of Evil Men and Women."
Debut of Hungry John
Theobald: "This next match is scheduled for one fall! Featuring first weighing in at ninety-five pounds...is this right? Jane?"
Coughlin: "It's what the sheet says. I'm guessing that it is?"
Dizon: "Sounds like a mistake to me. Surely he's like one hundred and ninety-five or two hundred and ninety-five..."
Theobald: "Weighing in at ninety-five pounds..."Hungry" John Smith!"
"People Are Strange" by the Doors begins and "Hungry" John Smith walks out nervously, looking around at the crowd in wonder. The fans for their part, stay silent at the sight of the skin and bone man with a few murmuring and finger pointing. John stops and looks hungrily at a woman with a strapless dress for a long moment, watching her bared neck with his mouth slightly open to reveal his fangs, but then shakes his head in a sudden revulsion before heading to the ring.
Coughlin: "Well? I guess he is ninety-five pounds. Isn't he listed as a vampire? He looked like he saw something filthy when eyeing that fan's neck."
Dizon: "Says he's also deathly afraid of blood. That's like if I was afraid of booze! Though I'm supposing it doesn't help that the woman he looked at has blood that's turned to black bile years ago. Did I mention that the smell here is sooo bad?"
Coughlin: "You have, but these are intelligent undead here at least. Not like the zombies staggering outside and mindlessly seeking flesh from the few living folk that came to watch the show."
Theobald: "And his opponent, weighing in at four hundred and ninety-five pounds...Lenneth!"
A golden light bathes the arena as ‘Die with Honor’ by Manowar plays over the PA and, after a few moments, the Bifrost opens and Lenneth appears, with another Valkyrie, looking around at the crowd as she raises her spear and cries out “ODIN!” She makes her way to the ring, slowly removing her helmet, cloak, spear and shield and entrusting them to the other Valkyrie to guard as she steps into the ring, awaiting her opponent and taking in the crowd again. She shakes her head at the sight of so much undead gathered in one place, but then turns her attention to her opponent and sneers.
Coughlin: "This doesn't seem like it's going to go well for Hungry John. Valkyries tend to lay waste to monsters when they can."
Dizon: "At a four hundred pound weight difference...it would go bad for anyone!"
At the sound of the opening bell, Lenneth punches John in the mouth, sending him straight to the mat with authority. John quickly gets back up, but another casual punch flattens him again. Lenneth bounces off the ropes as John gets up again and lunges in for a shoulder tackle, but John side steps. Lenneth bounces off the other side, coming back in again, but John grabs her and gets her up for a power slam!
Dizon: "How the heck did he get her lifted up?"
Coughlin: "He is a vampire in a dead land. And there was Lenneth's momentum coming off the ropes."
John stays on top for the cover, but the ref just gets into position before John is sent sailing through the air, nearly landing on the ref himself. Lenneth gets up, grabbing John by the back of the shirt to lift him up, and hurls him across the ring to slam against the turnbuckle.
John stands up, leaning back against the corner when he sees Lenneth charging again. He flips back over the ropes in time for Lenneth to slam into the corner like a charging bull. John lands on his feet on the concrete floor, looking up at the angered Valkyrie.
Lenneth reaches over the ropes, grabbing John by the collar again to pull him up. She shifts her grip to his thin arms and delivers several staggering headbutts before hurling him back across the ring to the other corner.
Dizon: "Hungry John isn't much more than a rag doll in this match."
Coughlin: "I would say his nose is broken from the looks of it, but since there's the fear of blood listed, he might not have ever fed enough to have enough blood in him to bleed."
Lenneth walks across the ring this time, eyeing Hungry John with menace as he stands up again. She kicks him in the gut, lifting him up for a power bomb, but he manages to drop behind her and bring her down for a backslide!
One...Two...Lenneth kicks out.
Lenneth gets up to her knees at the same time as Hungry John, grabbing him by the back of the head and slamming his face into the mat with a resounding impact. She hauls him up onto her shoulders and locks in a torture rack!
Coughlin: "She's going to snap him in half!"
Dizon: "Someone get him a bag of Oh positive! It'll be like freaking spinach to Popeye!"
After a few minutes, John manages to slip behind Lenneth and drop her with a neckbreaker. He goes to drop a knee to the chest, but Lenneth catches the knee, and sends him flying straight up into the air. She jumps to her feet, catching him, and sends him down with a body slam over the ropes to the concrete floor!
Lenneth watches from inside the ring as John slowly picks himself up, setting a bone in his arm with an ear splitting howl of pain. Lenneth waits patiently as the bone reknits itself and John rolls back into the ring. John strikes back at Lenneth with a punch, but it doesn't seem to effect her. In fact, she smiles and encourages him to try again so he can say he's put in a little effort before being defeated.
John tries a few more punches, but does little but hurt his own hands. Eventually, John grows sick of the game and lunges at Lenneth's sinking his teeth into her shoulder. She cries out in pain and surprise at the attack, but it's a short lived one as the blood touches John's tongue. He backs away, dropping to all fours and begins retching to be rid of the rich Asgardian blood. Lenneth just shakes her head, picking Hungry John up, and-
Coughlin: "Monster Slayer! Between the taste of blood and that, I think this one is all over!"
Dizon: "A vampire who can't drink blood. What rubbish!"
A quick cover and this one is all over. Lenneth stands up, raising her hands in victory.
Coughlin: "A hard debut for Hungry John, but we did sort of expect that it would end this way."
Dizon: "He needs some therapy to get over that fear. Then maybe he can come into his own, but you never know. He might be able to beat someone...that is until they bleed. In fact, I'd probably start the match by cutting myself."
Coughlin: "That's pretty low, even for you, Neil."
Dizon: "I'd probably win quicker than Lenneth did though."
Coughlin: "You do have a point."
The Debut of the Ghost Admiral
Theobald: "This next match is scheduled for one fall! Featuring first, weighing in at two hundred and thirty-three pounds...Admiral Bartholomew Kane!"
"Hoist The Colours" from At World's End begins playing as a man walks out from the back, swaying to the slow music and speech at the start. As the song really takes off with the "Yo! Ho!", the crowd begins stomping in tune. The man smiles and heads to the ring.
Dizon: "Now, we were given a description of Admiral Kane, and have seen him honored on television for his part in the conquest of Ireland. This does not look like him. He looks younger and is clean shaven!"
Coughlin: "Maybe there's something else going on?"
The man gets to the ring and is handed a microphone.
"The Ghost Admiral could not be here tonight, due to the fact that he is currently landing soldiers in Iceland. So, I am a living relative of his. Wally Kane! And I will be taking his place in this match tonight!"
Theobald: "And his opponent, weighing in at two hundred and thirty pounds...Iro Waters!"
"Built to Last" by The Protomen begins playing as Iro Waters walks out from the back. He looks at the large gathered crowd of the undead with wide eyes for a moment, watching one as a few spirits float about over the seats to watch the event unfold. He heads down to the ring, setting his helmet on the apron in his corner.
Coughlin: "This young man was hurt badly during the Stone Rain during the Fourth Punic War. His father rebuilt him so his spine and left arm are cybernetic."
Dizon: "He comes to the ring with his weapon built in? Nice."
At the opening bell, Iro Waters starts off with an offensive of knife hand chops with his left hand that level Wally Kane after the fourth impact. He rolls around on the mat while holding his chest.
Dizon: "Is Wally...crying? There's no crying in pro wrestling! No crying in pro wrestling!"
Coughlin: "The way he's acting, you would think that Iro shot Wally in the chest instead of hitting him with a metallic alloy hand."
Iro Waters waits for Wally to get up, but when it becomes clear that he's going to lay on the ground and cry out for his Mommy instead, Iro picks him up by the hair and-
Coughlin: "Calamity Trigger! Iro put the young man out of his misery with that one!"
Dizon: "Iro Waters expected coming to the ring to face a challenge from the dreaded Ghost Admiral, but instead faced a boy that looks like he might not have ever been in a fight before in his life. Though from the sounds of it, knew how to hide behind his momma's skirt."
One...Two...Three!
Coughlin: "An easy first win for Iro Waters, though I expect that the challenges will get fiercer as Queen Devereaux tests his limits."
Tabitha vs Roux
Cold Iron Cage
Theobald: "This next contest is for one fall and is to be held inside of a cage made up of cold iron bars! Featuring first, weighing in at one hundred and forty-five pounds...Zolothach!"
"Cthulhu, high priest of madness" by Nox Arcana begins as "Zolothach" Tabitha Osborne walks out from the back with a giggle and a satchel on her shoulder. She ignores the sounds of frightened booing from the undead crowd, bending down to her knees on the entrance stage in prayer. Once the vocals of the song have finished, she strides down to the ring while being very careful to not touch the cold iron bars as she slips inside the cage. She sets her satchel down on the ring apron in her corner, pulling out the contents.
Dizon: "Is that a zombie head?"
Coughlin: "It would appear to be so. I have heard rumors that Tabi-Zolothach reanimated the head of a former adviser of Roux's named Nevan. This is probably him. Still...gross."
Theobald: "And her opponent, weighing in at one hundred and thirty-five pounds...Roux Delacroix!"
"Sadness Pt. 1" by Enigma begins as Roux Delacroix walks out from the back. The fans begins booing her, cued in by the signals above the ring that states to do so. Those few that cheer the Queen of Thorns quickly silence themselves as British Imperial Guards near. Roux Delacroix walks down to the ring with a smile, though the mirth doesn't quite reach her eyes that remain fixed on Tabitha Osborne. She is also very careful as she enters the ring through the cage door, wincing as it's slammed shut behind her and locked.
Coughlin: "From the looks of the way both women entered into the cage, they will both be vulnerable to its touch. This will be an interesting match to see what it does to them when they use it as a weapon. You know one of them will do so."
Dizon: "Sounds like pure wrestling excitement!"
Before the bell even sounds to begin the match, Tabitha tackles Roux with a Lou Thez press, raining punches down on her face. That is until Roux can shove her off. Tabitha is back at her again, raking sharpened nails across Roux's left cheek, digging four deep furrows of flesh from her face. Roux backs away, her eyes wide in anger as her hand goes to the wound on her face that pours blood through her fingers.
Dizon: "Daaaaaammmmn! What a crazy bitch!"
Coughlin: "Zolothach wants to stay in the good graces of Queen Devereaux. So, she will do what it takes to win the match."
Tabitha takes to the air to attempt a drop kick, but Roux moves faster than belief to side step the attack, come about to Tabitha's side so she can bring up her knee to catch Tabitha in the spine as she falls back to the mat. She reaches down to pull Tabitha up by her hair, but is distracted when Tabitha lets out a primal scream. She slashes Roux across the right leg above the knee with her sharpened nails, rising to grab Roux, and plant her on the mat with a hip toss.
Tabitha kicks Roux in the ribcage to roll her over and brings her foot up to stomp Roux in the face, but Roux catches her foot, and twists to bring Tabitha back down to the mat. She follows this up by grabbing Tabitha quickly and locking in a Boston crab. Tabitha slaps the mat a few times in pain, but then begins a creepy giggle.
Dizon: "Most sane people would be yelling from the pain and trying to break free of the hold."
Coughlin: "Tabitha is trying to break free, but she is laughing about the pain. She isn't sane, Neil. Not by a lick."
Tabitha makes it to the ropes, and Roux breaks the hold when the ref informs her of such. She waits for Tabitha to use the ropes to bring herself back up before coming back in with a drop kick. Tabitha moves to the side this time, plucking Roux from midair, and twisting her to send her face first into the cold iron bars on the outside of the ring!
Dizon: "How the *beep* did Zolothach manage to do that shit?"
Coughlin: "Her connection with Cthulhu drives her to supernatural abilities."
Roux lays on the floor next to the cold iron cage, holding her face in pain as tendrils of smoke rise into the air from the contact. Tabitha runs across the ring to bounce off the ropes to build momentum, but as she leaps over the ropes to nail Roux, she's caught and slammed face and chest into the cold iron bars. Roux holds her in place after the impact, grinning as Tabitha lets out a shriek of pain. A backwards kick that catches Roux in the shin causes her to release Tabitha, letting her fall to the floor. Roux looks down on her with a smirk and picks her up by the throat to slam her back into the cage. Tabitha screams, the cold iron burning through her clothing to sear her flesh, smoke rising into the air in a form not unlike the tentacles of a squid.
Delacroix: "Here we are again. You and me. Did you think it would end differently? Our little game can be played over and over again, but I am the Queen of Thorns, and you are just a-"
Tabitha lets out a scream in the form of a word, though what the word is exactly is unknown. It comes out with a shockwave of light and power, breaking Roux's hold and slamming her into the ring apron hard enough to bounce off and back to the floor at Tabitha's feet. The crowd is flattened all the way back to the start of the cheap seats.
At ringside, Neil Dizon and Jane Coughlin pick themselves back up, righting their chairs, and sitting down.
Dizon: "What the *beep* was that?"
Coughlin: "Tabitha trying to stay in the game. That must have cost her though."
Tabitha kicks Roux in the face, giggling as blood sprays away from her mouth. She picks Roux up, rolling her into the ring where Roux lays unmoving. Tabitha then turns around, gazing at the twenty foot tall cold iron cage with a bloody smile.
Dizon: "It hurts her to touch that cage! And now she's considering climbing it? She's essentially topless from that cold iron burning through her clothing!"
Coughlin: "She's totally bent in the brain, Neil. Though I don't think that even she would-"
Dizon: "She is!"
Square by painful square, Tabitha lets out a stream of curses in a dead language as she climbs the cold iron cage to the top. The air around her seems to darken to a oily thickness as she spits out her words. Once she gets to the very top, she stands on top, the rubber soles of her shoes protecting her from the cold iron's touch. She seems to consider her blistered, burned hands for a moment before raising her arms to the sky and letting out a sadistic laugh.
Tabitha leaps high into the air, higher than it would seem possible, and comes down at where Roux was laying on the mat as if dead. Her eyes go wide in shock when she sees Roux launch herself into the air, wrapping her legs around Tabitha's head, and-
Dizon: "A mid-air Hurrican-*beep*ing-ranna back over the ropes and sending Tabitha's head into the concrete floor and back against the cold iron cage!"
Coughlin: "I don't know how and I'm not sure I want to know how. You can see that the cold iron cage is burning Tabitha all along her side, but she isn't moving in the least."
Roux Delacroix, in the ring, stands back up quickly to go capitalize on her momentum, but drops to her knees. She's covered in her own blood and Tabitha's along with a number of burns. She looks out at Tabitha laying in a growing pool of blood, smoke rising from her side.
Coughlin: "Does Roux have the energy to finish this match?"
Dizon: "Looks like all she has to do is get Tabitha, I mean Zolothach, back into the ring and pin her."
Roux eventually rolls out of the ring, picks Tabitha up, and rolls her back into the ring. Roux slowly makes her way to the corner, climbing to the top rope. She waits as Tabitha makes her way to her knees, but doesn't stand. So, Roux waits.
Dizon: "Is Tabitha whispering?"
Coughlin: "I think that she is, but what?"
Tabitha kneels in the center of the ring, her mouth moving and eyes closed, but little sound can be heard. Quickly though, her voice reaches a volumne that can be heard.
Osborne: "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn."
Tabitha repeats her prayer a few more times before rising to her feet. Roux leaps through the air even as a mist starts to rise around the ring. She catches Tabitha around the head, and-
Coughlin: "Dragon's Thorn!"
Dizon: "But will it keep Zolothach down?"
Roux rolls Tabitha over, going for the cover. As she does so, the mists dissipate away as if they never were.
One...Two...Three!!!
Theobald: "Winner of this match via pinfall....Roux Delacroix!"
Coughlin: "Roux has emerged, bloody and burnt, but victorious from this match!"
Dizon: "The Queen isn't going to be very pleased at this turn of events at all..."
j0ker vs Kronin
attempt 3 (or is it 2)
Theobald: "This next match is scheduled for one fall, featuring first, weighing in at two hundred and twenty-five pounds...j0ker!"
"Turn You Inside Out" by REM plays over the speakers and the crowd...moans like zombies with a few mixed boos and cheers as j0ker walks out from the back. She adjusts the j0ker mask before heading down to the ring.
Dizon: "So this is not the j0ker that Kronin faced in Cologne over five years ago?"
Coughlin: "No. He was locked up after the close of WWI and has since escaped, but hasn't returned to the ring. Britain tried to make a replacement, using his mask, but this man has since been killed. A few others tried taking up the position, but they have also met grisly ends. This girl seems to be the latest and sickest of them."
Dizon: "I'm going to need a score card on this one."
Coughlin: "You and me both."
Theobald: "And her opponent, weighing in at three hundred and thirty-one pounds...Kronin!"
A couple quick spots of white noise is heard over the PA before ‘Ich Will' by Rammstein plays. The titan showing highlights of Kronin’s matches and Kronin marches out from the back, looking around the crowd and nodding, making his way to the ring every so often pausing to shake hands with a few of the living fans (and a couple of happy zombie fans who cheer) and the like before climbing into the ring.
Once in the ring, Kronin warms up and begins to prepare for the coming match...
Dizon: "I thought Kronin weighed in at two hundred and sixty-five pounds? He doesn't look like he's gained a gut!"
Coughlin: "I think that he's slowly gaining an Asgardian physiology and in this, his body would become more dense and thus weigh more. Just like Lenneth."
Dizon: "Ah. The buggers..."
As the bell sounds to start the match, j0ker tries for a quick jab, but Kronin catches it and turns it into an armbar that he smashes his elbow into. He follows this up with a European uppercut that staggers the girl back a few steps. j0ker comes back, jumping up to hit a high knee, and coming back down with a clothesline to drop Kronin to the mat. j0ker continues with a knee drop, and a cover.
Coughlin: "Is j0ker pulling up the bottom of her mask up?"
Dizon: "Yes! Why is she-"
j0ker makes a half-hearted cover while pulling up the bottom of her mask and planting a quick kiss on Kronin's lips! Kronin shoves her off, backing away quickly. j0ker stands up with a wicked grin, pulling her mask back down.
Coughlin: "This isn't going to go over very well with-"
Dizon: "And there she is!"
Lilly runs down to the ring, slamming her open hands down on the apron, and screaming at j0ker in Romanian. j0ker just shrugs with a laugh, ignoring her. Kronin rushes over to Lilly to try to calm her down, but j0ker catches him from behind for a belly to back suplex, rolling back over, hooking both legs, for a pinfall attempt.
One...Two...Kronin kicks out.
j0ker releases the legs, planting herself directly on Kronin's face and wiggling with a laugh. Lilly goes red in the face, leaping up to the ring apron and shouting. The ref runs over to tell her to get down from the ring when j0ker gets up, dropping a knee back down across Kronin's throat and holding it there.
Coughlin: "j0ker better play it careful or she'll wind up on the wrong end of a spell."
Dizon: "All's fair, right? She didn't do anything exactly illegal, except for the choke right now. Though the ref doesn't see that, does he?"
j0ker breaks the hold as the ref turns back after getting Lilly to back down. She steps away, allowing Kronin to get up on fours before rushing back in and hitting a rolling wheel kick to flatten him back down on the mat. She leans down, slapping Kronin around on the face and head before Kronin shoves her backwards with a shout. The move sends j0ker across the ring into the corner, where we see Lilly creep around to yell at her.
Kronin rushes across the ring, catching j0ker in the side of the head with a double axe handle, and drags her away from Lilly while holding a side headlock. He finishes in the middle of the ring with a bulldog.
He picks her back up, but drops her on her head with a piledriver before going for the cover.
One...two...j0ker kicks out!
Kronin starts to get up, but j0ker pulls him back down again. It looks like a cover, but Kronin is struggling. The ref looks and begins counting.
One...Two...j0ker kicks out again. When Kronin jumps backwards away from her, we see that-
Dizon: "Does j0ker have a boob out?"
Coughlin: "She does! I think she put Kronin's hand there too!"
Lilly is up on the apron again, but this time the ref is talking to Kronin in the thoughts that he engaged in this act. j0ker walks over to Lilly with a laugh, not bothering to cover herself.
j0ker: "Where were you? Huh? You had to be 'saved' (does quotes in the air) from Sikarin Tsooth while I just waited for him to come back to the ring. I drooled for this day, not not here, but down here. (glides a hand over her crotch) Don't think you can just come down to the ring and ruin this moment for me, bitch!"
Lilly's jaw hangs open in shock at j0ker's words, but not for long as j0ker flings a black fireball in her face that knocks her from the ring apron. She turns back around to be leveled by a running clothesline from Kronin, who sweeps past her to the outside where he checks on Lilly.
Coughlin: "j0ker is playing some dirty pool here!"
Dizon: "But it's kinda hot."
Kronin starts climbing back up to the apron. j0ker tries to grab him, but he shifts to slam her in the midsection with his shoulder before stepping through and dropping her with a German suplex!
Dizon: "Oh it's begun! The German Suplex Machine has begun!"
Kronin pulls j0ker back up, dropping her with a second German suplex, and a third before releasing. He pulls her back up and-
Coughlin: "Beautiful Disaster! This is it! j0ker is laying on the mat like a dead girl!"
Dizon: "Would be like what she did to the last few people who tried to wear that mask, or so I've heard."
Kronin looks to Lilly one last time as j0ker reaches up to press something on her mask and drop her hand back down to the mat. Lilly shouts, pointing to her, but Kronin just sees her laying still on the mat. He shrugs with a smile and goes for the pinfall, but as he gets near, j0ker releases a cloud of green mist. The ref, watching to make sure Lilly doesn't do anything, doesn't see this. Kronin falls backwards to the mat, holding his eyes in pain.
Coughlin: "The Green Mist! It's said to blind people for months at a time! This is bad!"
Dizon: "Wow..."
j0ker slowly sits up, looking over at Kronin, who'se trying to wipe at his eyes. She stands up, but a bolt of energy slams into her chest, sending her out of the ring, and into the ring railing. This, the ref does see, so he signals for the bell to be rung. Lilly rushes into the ring, quickly casting cleansing and healing spells on Kronin. On the outside of the ring, j0ker painfully gets to her feet, and removes the mask.
j0ker: "I could have healed that so much better, Kronin. Next time! Remember, I'm your biggest fan!"
j0ker heads to the back, slowly at first, but quickly changing to a playful skip.
Dizon: "Is anyone else creeped out and turned on at the same time?"
Coughlin: "Really?"
Dizon: "Erm, you know. Not me, I was just speaking out loud. Stephan Theobald was looking awful happy there for a moment."
Theobald: "Hey!"
Stephan Theobald climbs into the ring as Lilly checks Kronin's vision.
Theobald: "Winner of the match via disqualification...j0ker!"
It's Gone!
"Zolothach" Tabitha Osborne walks back into her dressing room after being bandaged up in medical enough to look like a mummy from head to toe. She angrily opens up her bag on the dressing table with a curse.
Osborne: "I'll show her! I'll show that Roux Delacroix well and good! I have been saving this book for a special occassion! We will see how she likes dealing with the mother *beep*ing B’gnu-Thun!"
Tabitha sorts through her bag a few times before dumping it out onto the floor. She cries out in rage.
Osborne: "Where is my book! My Necromonicon! I paid so dearly to get this copy!"
Tabitha sits in her chair, wrapping her arms around her with a sudden chill.
Osborne: "So...so...dearly. Where could it-"
Just then, Valora Salinas pops out of the closet with the unholy grimoire in her hands.
Salinas: "You won't mind if I borrow this?"
Valora slams the book into the side of Tabitha's head before rushing out through the door.
It takes a moment for Tabitha to recover from being stunned (especially after her match with Roux), but she stands up, letting out a blood curling shriek.
Osborne: "I will kill you, Valora! I will rend your little undead body apart for the buzzards to feed upon. KILL YOU!"
IWA World Championship
Theobald: "This next match is scheduled for one fall and is for the Imperial Wrestling Alliance Championship of the World! Featuring first, weighing in at one hundred and forty-five pounds...Valora Salinas!"
"Death Triumphant" by my Dying Bride begins as Valora Salinas walks out from the back to a near standing ovation from the crowd. The signal over the ring says for them to cheer, but with much of the crowd being as undead as Valora and seeing her ready to fight for the World title, they need no manipulations.
Valora Salinas makes her way to the ring with a wide grin, rolling into the ring and posing for the fans.
Dizon: "She's ready to fight if he comes, but I don't really expect him too. It's just too dangerous!"
Coughlin: "True, but Bacchus has your wisdom. He'll probably come."
Theobald: "And her opponent, weighing in at two hundred and ten pounds...he is the IWA World Champion...KD Bacchus!"
No music, nothing happens.
Coughlin: "If the IWA were to keep the policies that the WWI had, then Bacchus would be allowed to wrestle. Anderson didn't have Valora or Queen Devereaux shot on sight when he knew for absolute certain that they both worked for Carthage. Wisdom would have meant taking them down when they were by themselves. Hell, if he would have had Druscilla killed instead of trying to wrestle her in the ring, we might not be in this mess right now!"
Dizon: "True. It's a wrestling thing. I just wonder if-"
"Heresy" by Nine Inch Nails begins playing over the PA system, everyone looks to the entrance stage (even the British Imperial Guardsmen), but no one comes out. Valora leans on the ropes, looking down the aisle in anticipation. She doesn't notice KD Bacchus coming down a zipline to the center of the ring with his World title belt (that still says WWI) around his waist and his oversized sword on his back.
Valora spins around with her eyes wide as the feet of Bacchus hit the mat.
Salinas: "Oh, he has surprised me! Whatever will I do?"
Bacchus: "You'll lose."
Salinas: "Guards...stand down. This man will be handled in a very special way."
KD Bacchus nods, setting his belt and sword down to start the match, but a flash of light as he starts to turn back toward Valora announces the arrival of Nebiryau.
Salinas: "I said in a special way. I didn't say wrestling match. I was told that this title was going to be mine from the day that I defeated Brice St Vient, but we had to get you in the ring."
Bacchus tries to dive for his sword, but is backhanded by Nebiryau hard enough to knock him to the center of the ring. Nebiryau and Valora both approach the stunned Bacchus.
Coughlin: "Oh I can't watch!"
Jane buries her face in Neil's shoulder as he watches with his jaw clenched in fury as KD Bacchus is beaten down in a farce of a match before being pinned. Nebiryau picks up the WWI World belt and melts it in his hands before handing Valora the new IWA World title.
Nebiryau: "Winner and NEW IWA World Champion...Valora Salinas!"
Valora Salinas holds the IWA World title over her head with a laugh.
Dizon: "If this is how enemies of the state are dealt with...who would even dare oppose Valora for the World title? Who?"

Who?"
