Onslaught #3
IWA Onslaught #3 to be held in the Wastes of Gtuhanai. A venue built by the WWI years ago to memorialize those who fought against Gtuhanai when it created a wide swath of destruction through Europe and to be a seed for the rebuilding. Built in the ruins of Belgium in a sea of monstrous creatures around it, a untamed frontier, who will rise and prove that they deserve the chance to go against Valora Salinas for her IWA World championship?
Opening
The lights in the arena dim and the JumboTron lights up to reveal the night's theme music. A creepy tune that makes those in the crowd shift nervously in their chairs as it plays. They cheer though when they catch sight of Imperial soldiers and the signal above the ring that demands applause.
Once the music stops, we go down to the commentary desk where sit Jane Coughlin and Neil Dizon.
Dizon: "Tabitha Osborne must have been allowed to choose the music for the night."
Coughlin: "Sounds like something that she would enjoy. Though remember, don't let her catch you using that name. She'll gut you like a pig."
Dizon: "Oh right. Zolothach then."
Coughlin: "We have an interesting evening planned for you tonight. The newcomer, Iro Waters, takes on Roux Delacroix. Roux is fresh off of her brutal victory over Zolothach in a Cold Iron Cage. Iro defeated the living kin of the Ghost Admiral, but it really wasn't as impressive as an acomplishment."
Dizon: "No, that kid had no business being in the ring at all."
Coughlin: "Then Lenneth is scheduled to take on the Ghost Admiral. I wonder if he will show up this time, or if he will send in Wally again."
Dizon: "Lenneth is an enemy of the British Empire. I would think he would take her on himself, but you never know. He might be off killing people by the thousands in some distant land. I hear Pakistan is on the chopping block now that Iceland and Greenland have been subdued."
Coughlin: "I thought Pakistan was already a part of the Empire?"
Dizon: "Accidents happen to every British official and soldier that enter. They say that terrorists are doing it and that they are hunting them down, but I think they are sponsored by the state. The hammer's going to be brought down soon enough I'm sure."
Coughlin: "Then Zareth Korbin takes on Zolothach in the ring. Zareth was teasing Zolothach that he was going to defeat Tony Manzell where she could not. When he was defeated, she came out to rub in the loss. Both seek favor from Queen Devereaux, so a match was going to happen."
Dizon: "From what I have heard, this place resonates with the power of the Great Old Ones, the very beings that she worships. It might be very hard for him to defeat her here."
Coughlin: "I thought it was an Elder God who fell here?"
Dizon: "People confuse the two sometimes. The Elder Gods are actually opponents of the Great Old Ones. Gtuhanai is the brother of Cthulhu and is thus a Great Old One. I've done some research in my spare time."
Coughlin: "Look at the educated one tonight! The main event is Lilly taking on the new female j0ker that tried to get it on with Kronin at the same time as trying to defeat him. It sparked ugly emotions in Lilly, who used her power to attack j0ker. The ref saw the outside interference and disqualified Kronin. Now she wants to get into the ring with j0ker to beat her down personally for her improper actions. I know if someone did that to you, I wouldn't wait for a match. I'd have shot her between the eyes after the show."
Dizon: "Aww, you do care!"
Coughlin: "Don't make me smack you."
Dizon: "Yes, dear. Shall we get to the ring for the opening match?"
Coughlin: "Yes."
Ambush from Beyond
At the ring entrance area, Roux Delacroix waits to be introduced so she can go down to the ring.
"Good luck, bitch. You'll need it against this guy with the metal arm."
Roux spins around, her eyes narrowing at the sight of Tabitha Osborne.
Delacroix: "Didn't I already dispatch you?"
Tabitha takes a bow with a giggle.
Osborne: "And yet here I am. It's going to be great fun watching that new boy clean your clock. The buzz is that he seeks answers for the Stone Rain that ruined his life."
Delacroix: "That's not going to happen, bitch. Now begone before I cast the spell that will end you for-"
Roux jerks as if struck, but she can't see her attacker. It happens another couple of times. She strike at her attacker, but nothing seems to change. She bats away invisible "things" revealing puking wounds that pour blood.
Slowly tentacles are revealed as they fill with blood. Roux shouts a spell that reveals a gelatinous blob with tentacles with sucking teeth at the end. They lash at Roux, striking her in places and latching on to drain her of blood.
Tabitha giggles like a maniac.
Osborne: "I was going to save this for Zareth, but why bother? Roux, meet the Shambler from the Stars!"
Tabitha Osborne runs off while Roux Delacroix continues to fight the Shambler. She blasts at a couple of the tentacles with flames to make it back away long enough for her to get a breather.
Delacroix: "Learn the depth of my power, star vampire!"
The floor splits open with thorny vines growing in and wrapping around the creature. It's thorns tear at the flesh of the being, ripping it's essence away to feed its magical growth.
In seconds, a dry husk is left on the floor and the vines retract into the floor. Roux Delacroix mumbles a spell to seal her wounds and swoons a little, holding onto the wall.
Delacroix: "Oh you little bitch, you better not have just cost me this match!"
Iro vs Roux
Theobald: "This next match is scheduled for one fall! Featuring first, weighing in at two hundred and thirty pounds...Iro Waters!"
"Built to Last" by The Protomen begins playing as Iro Waters walks out onto the entrance stage. The crowd begin to cheer right away as there is no signal to tell them how to cheer. Iro Waters walks down to the ring, waving and smiling at the fans as he goes, stepping through the ropes.
Coughlin: "Iro Waters performed well enough at the last show, though it was against an untrained wrestler named Wally Kane while Admiral Kane was away, subduing Iceland and Greenland."
Dizon: "So we really have no idea if he's any good. He'll get his real test tonight!"
Theobald: "And his opponent, weighing in at one hundred and thirty-five pounds...Roux Delacroix!"
"Sadness Part One" by Enigma begins as Roux Delacroix walks out from the back, covered in blood from numerous wounds. She swoons a bit, grabbing onto the curtain before righting herself and heading to the ring. Despite being signaled to boo, the crowd is silent as they watch the wounded Queen of Thorns stagger to the ring.
Coughlin: "What the heck happened to her? She looks like she's already been in a fight!"
Dizon: "It can happen. She is an enemy of the state after all."
Roux Delacroix gets into the ring where a worried ref asks her if she can compete at all. Roux defiantly nods in the positive and the ref reluctantly signals for the bell to start the match.
Iro Waters nears Roux, but he looks more concerned for her health than wanting to start the match. He tries asking her if she was alright, but Roux defiantly shoves him back. The effort of doing so brings her to her knees though. Iro Waters backs away and talks to the ref, pointing at Roux.
Coughlin: "I don't think that Iro wants to wrestle Roux when she's in this condition."
Dizon: "Noble of him, but-"
"I Miss The Misery" by Halestorm begins playing as "Lady Apathy" Elizabeth Devereaux steps onto the entrance stage. She looks coldly down to the ring.
Devereaux: "Iro Waters, your sentiment is sweet, but Roux did tell the ref that she can compete. So, you will defeat her with all of your might."
Iro is handed a microphone, he stands to the ropes looking back at her.
Waters: "She can barely stand up! It wouldn't be right to beat on her more! Just call the match a draw and be done with it! I won't do it!"
The fans cheer, but a cold look from Elizabeth silences them right away.
Devereaux: "Maybe I didn't make myself clear enough. Finish her or you will be fired. I shouldn't have to tell you how we fire people in Imperial Wrestling..."
The Imperial Soldiers at ringside turn their weapons to point at Iro Waters.
Waters: "Wait a minute. You'll have me shot if I don't beat her down?"
Devereaux: "Have the guts to do what must be done, or else."
Roux Delacroix slowly gets back to her feet with a dignified expression, though still her pain and weakness is quite obvious. She nods at Iro Waters.
Delacroix: "Do it."
Iro Waters looks at her for a long time before he too nods. He tosses the mic to the side and-
Coughlin: "Calamity Trigger! Delacroix is out cold!"
Dizon: "No words can describe...what a bitch!"
Iro Waters goes for the pinfall, though he stares daggers at Lady Apathy.
One...Two...Three!
Devereaux: "That'll do, Waters. That'll do."
Lady Apathy turns to the back while medics rush down to the ring. Iro Waters stands by while they get her on a stretcher and walks back to the back with her.
Coughlin: "Iro Waters tries to show some nobility in throwing the match, but the Queen would not allow it."
Dizon: "It's a shame that Roux was apparently attacked before she even made it to the ring. I was looking forward to a great match!"
Coughlin: "We all were, Neil. We all were."
Power of Gtuhanai
"Zolothach"Tabitha Osborne walks down the hallway in the back, running her fingers along the walls as she does so. She has a look of peaceful reverence on her face as she walks.
Osborne: "This is where Gtuhanai fell, not far away from the German border. It's amazing! I can feel the residual energies of Cthulhu's brother in the air, and in the very building!"
Tabitha stops and closes her eyes with her hands on the wall.
Osborne: "There's something...here."
Tabitha shoves her hand into the wall, pulling out a sliver of black stone. She looks at it in awe as it seems to draw in the light from the room.
Osborne: "Black Hole Diamond! And it was once a part of Gtuhanai's form!"
Tabitha looks around her quickly before holding her breath. She glides the sliver down, not down her shirt, but piercing flesh and sliding the sliver along her sternum. A quickly whispered spell and some string pulls from her outfit to sew the wound closed.
Osborne: "Between being in this place and this stone, my power will be greatly magnified! Nothing will stop me!"
She continues down the hallway, only drawing a few odd glances as blood coats the front of her outfit.
Lenneth vs the Ghost Admiral
Theobald: "This next match is scheduled for one fall! Featuring first, weighing in at for hundred and ninety-five pounds...Lenneth!"
A golden light bathes the arena as ‘Die with Honor’ by Manowar plays over the PA and, after a few moments, the Bifrost opens and Lenneth appears, with another Valkyrie, looking around at the crowd as she raises her spear and cries out “ODIN!” She makes her way to the ring, slowly removing her helmet, cloak, spear and shield and entrusting them to the other Valkyrie to guard as she steps into the ring, awaiting her opponent and taking in the crowd again. The crowd boos as told by the signal above the ring, Lenneth shakes her head at the crowd playing the part of sheep, but otherwise pays them no mind.
Dizon: "This should be a great match! A Valkyrie against the Ghost Admiral!"
Coughlin: "If the Ghost Admiral even shows..."
Dizon: "He will. This is an enemy of Britain in the ring here. He'll surely show to defeat her."
Theobald: "And his opponent, weighing in at two hundred and twenty-three pounds...Bartholomew Kane!"
"Hoist The Colours" from At World's End begins playing as a man walks out from the back, swaying to the slow music and speech at the start. As the song really takes off with the "Yo! Ho!", the crowd begins stomping in tune. The man smiles and heads to the ring.
Coughlin: "I hate to say I told you so, but I told you so."
Dizon: "What? They sent in Wally Kane again? This sucks! Lenneth is going to eat him for dinner!"
Wally Kane rolls into the ring, all smiles. That is until he looks at Lenneth. He swallows hard before presenting his hand. Lenneth looks at his hand and him in general with disdain.
Lenneth: "Can no worthy opponent be found? Where is this Ghost Admiral?"
Kane: "He's ah bombing Pakistan right now. So um, I'm your opponent today. And I can take you!"
Wally throws some punches that Lenneth doesn't bother blocking. He then tries to lift her to body slam her. He staggers backwards holding his back like he's dying.
Kane: "Oh my God, you don't look fat, but you're so dang heavy!"
Lenneth rolls her eyes, grabbing Wally and putting him in a torture rack. Wally screams like a little girl, waving to the ref that he quits. Lenneth casually tosses Wally across the ring and begins grabbing her gear, ignoring the ref as he tries to raise her hand.
Theobald: "Winner by way of submission...Lenneth!"
Dizon: "This was a worse match than the last one! I hope the next one is at least better."
Coughlin: "Zareth Korbin against Zolothach? I'm sure it won't disappoint."
Theft of Power
Tabitha Osborne stands on the inside of her dressing room, turning the door handle to head down to her place by the entrance stage behind the curtain when the door is smashed in from a thrown warhammer. Tabitha is smashed against the opposite wall, crashing through her dressing table.
When she looks up, four Elite Guards rush into the room and point assault rifles with undersling grenade launchers at her head. Zareth Korbin walks in behind them.
Korbin: "I had heard you found something of importance. You think I don't have informants around the building?"
Tabitha spits up blood with a giggle.
Osborne: "You will never find it! In fact-"
A quickly worded spell kills the four guards with flying metallic shrapnel. Zareth motions with his hand and his warhammer flies to him. It deflects the shrapnel coming his way. He brings the warhammer down, cracking Tabitha in the head to stun her. He then drops the hammer, and pulls out a knife.
Korbin: "You think you can fool me, but you can't. I would kill you now, but in the ring would be so much better for me to gain prestige in the eyes of our Queen. This is going to hurt you more than it hurts me."
Zareth rips open Tabitha's shirt open and glides his knife alongside the bump on her sternum, prying the shard of black hole diamond out. He grins as it is easily inserted into the warhammer's head.
Korbin: "You don't deserve this kind of power. I do. See you in the ring in a bit."
With that Zareth Korbin leaves with Tabitha stirring a few minutes later. She lets out a screech of rage as she realizes what was done to her.
Osborne: "I will flay you alive in that ring!"
Zareth vs Tabitha
Theobald: "This next match is scheduled for one fall! Featuring first, weighing in at two hundred and seventy-five pounds...Zareth Korbin!"
"Hall of The Mountain King" by Apocalpytica plays as Zareth Korbin storms out from the back. He looks at the cheering crowd with smug satisfaction before heading down to the ring.
Coughlin: "You think the crowd is really cheering for Zareth, or that they don't hate him enough to defy the signal above the ring?"
Dizon: "He's facing Tab-Zolothach tonight. Anyone facing her is bound to be cheered for."
Theobald: "And his opponent, weighing in at one hundred and forty-five pounds...Zolothach!"
"Cthulhu, high priest of madness" by Nox Arcana begins playing and as the speech begins, Tabitha walks out from the back. She kneels in prayer as the voice drones on about Great Cthulhu and then rises to head for the ring. The fans boo her all the way down, one of the fans at the railing even going as far as saying "Crazy Tabitha!" Tabitha strikes the man in the throat with her fist, bringing him over the railing. She has her ritual dagger out before Imperial soldiers can stop her. The fan is removed from the arena while Tabitha rolls into the ring, giggling at the sight of Zareth, who swings his warhammer around in lazy circles that leave a trail of purple sparks in the air.
Osborne: "Even with what you stole from me, you can't defeat me. We should make this match interesting."
Korbin: "Interesting, you say? How do you want to lose, bitch?"
Osborne: "What about a Russian Chain match?"
Korbin: "I don't want tied to you. What about Texas Death?"
Osborne: "I'm game! Old man, call it!"
Theobald: "Ladies and gentlemen, this match has just become a Texas Death match!"
Coughlin: "I don't know if this is the wisest thing in the world to do."
Dizon: "About as wise as jumping out an airplane with the expectation of catching a thrown parachute to put it on and remain alive once hitting the ground!"
Coughlin: "You have experience with this?"
Dizon: "Well...no, but I did hear about it in Egypt."
As the bell rings to start the match, Zareth casually throws his warhammer, catching Tabitha in the midsection to drive her into the ropes. She bounces off of them and slams face down into the mat. Zareth casually stalks Tabitha, confident that his first blow might be the last one he needs to strike. He pulls her up by the hair.
Korbin: "Enjoying your broken ribs much?"
Osborne: "Yes! You enjoy this!"
Zareth lets out a roar of pain as Tabitha sinks her ritual dagger to the hilt in the right side of his chest, between the ribs. She goes to pull the dagger out, but is shoved over the top rope to the floor. Zareth touches the dagger and winces, but does not remove it.
Coughlin: "Within the opening seconds of the match, Tabitha has a least one rib broken and Zareth might have a lung punctured."
Dizon: "This is why letting these two fight a Texas Death match is a bad idea."
Tabitha rolls back into the ring to be pounded down with double ax handle smashes. He kicks her in the ribcage with a snarl to roll her back out of the ring. He rolls out after her, rips her up by the arm to whip her chest first into the ring apron. Tabitha reverses the whip, sending Zareth chest first into the apron. Just missing slamming the dagger in further. Tabitha rips the dagger out of Zareth's chest and tears it down Zareth's right arm, slicing it open. She sets the dagger on the apron and rolls Zareth into the ring. She climbs up to the apron, grabs the top rope, and slingshots herself over the top rope into a splash. She hooks the leg for the pinfall.
One...Two...Three!
Coughlin: "Now we wait for the ref to count to ten. The way Zareth is losing blood, it might be a good idea to stay down."
Dizon: "No shit!"
One...Two...Three...Four...Five...Six...Seven...Eight...Zareth gets up.
Korbin: "It'll take more than that to put me down, Tabitha!"
Coughlin: "I don't know if he should be doing that."
Dizon: "That's about as bad as stealing Tarrasque's lunch."
Tabitha lets out an enraged shriek, punching Zareth in the stab wound. She rushes at him, dodging to the side to move past him to bounce off the opposite ropes, and comes back to spear him in the back of the knee to bring Zareth crashing down. She rolls over placing her hands on Zareth's forehead and shoulder, bringing her face down to bite the side of his neck!
Dizon: "What the Hell?"
Coughlin: "Can't they take this match stipulation back? Someone could die here!"
Tabitha turns her head to the side, spitting out a goblet of flesh. The wound pours blood, but it appears that vital blood veins have been missed in the carnage. Tabitha sits back and giggles, wiping at her blood covered face to smear the blood in.
Zareth rises to his feet, which prompts Tabitha to also stand up. Zareth grabs Tabitha, lifts her into a press slam and then drops her ribcage over his knee.
Coughlin: "An inverted backbreaker. Vicious!"
Dizon: "If those ribs were not broken before, they might be now!"
Zareth goes for the cover.
One...Two...Three!
Coughlin: "Now to see if Zolothach can get up before the ten count."
Dizon: "This is another time where I'd say down."
One...Two...Three...Four...Five...Six...Tabitha gets up.
Zareth goes right on the offensive, smashing Tabitha into the corner with a big boot before scooping her up for a power slam. Zareth stands up, looks down at Tabitha, and spits on her. He raises a foot to smash down on her ribcage, when she points up a palm at him and shouts a word of power. A black wreathed firball slams Zareth in the face, staggering him backwards.
Tabitha stands up and giggles at Zareth's many bleeding wounds.
Osborne: "You're fading fast, thug. I don't think you'll last much long. As a High Priestess of Cthulhu...I am Eternal!"
Korbin: "Eternal my ass!"
Zareth lunges at Tabitha before she can react, hitting a spear, lifting her up, and driving her into the corner. The air explodes from Tabitha's lungs as well as a good deal of blood. He pulls her from the corner, lifts her up high, and-
Coughlin: "Clavicula Salomonis! The pinfall here should be a matter of cake!"
Dizon: "It looks like half the blood inside of Tabitha just splattered the mat!"
Coughlin: "At least half of that is Zareth's. He could drop on his own pretty soon."
Zareth goes for the cover.
One...Two...Three!
Dizon: "Let's see if Tabitha is stupid enough to even try to get up from this one!"
Coughlin: "Tabitha seems to have some serious internal bleeding. It would be a good idea to stay down."
One...Two...Three...Zareth leans in the corner with a satisfied smile...Four...Five...Six...Seven...Tabitha gets up! Zareth looks at Tabitha with his mouth hanging open. Tabitha for her part, painfully giggles.
Dizon: "This bitch is crazy as Hell!"
Zareth lumbers across the ring to punch Tabitha in the ribcage, but she jumps up to catch his arm under her arm, twisting to hyperextend the elbow. Once she lands on her feet, she climbs to the top rope, moonsaults off, and-
Coughlin: "Twisted Trap! Zareth is down!"
Instead of going directly for the cover, Tabitha rolls over to the side of the ring to grab her ritual dagger. She leaps back at Zareth, slamming the dagger home into his forearm to pin it to the mat. Then she goes for the cover.
One...Two...Three!
Dizon: "Can Zareth even get up now if he wanted to?"
Coughlin: "We can only wait."
One...Two...Three...Four...Five...Zareth begins to stir...Six...Seven...Zareth tries to rise, but can't lift his arm to get up...Eight...Nine...Zareth grabs at the dagger, but with his strength fading fast, he can't pull it out...Ten!
Theobald: "Winner of this match...Zolothach!
Dizon: "They damn near killed each other, but a winner was finally found! What's she doing now?"
Coughlin: "Stealing Zareth's warhammer?"
Tabitha hefts up Zareth's warhammer, pulling a black shard of something from the head and slipping it into her shirt. She then reclaims her dagger, pressing the point into the underside of Zareth's chin.
Osborne: "This is goodbye, thug. I will send you now into the waiting tentacles of Cthulhu..."
Coughlin: "No!"
"ENOUGH!"
Tabitha turns her head to see "Lady Apathy" Elizabeth Devereaux floating down the aisle.
Devereaux: "You have defeated him. My servants slaying each other is unacceptable!"
Tabitha puts the dagger away, standing up. She bows with humility to Lady Apathy.
Osborne: "I am sorry, Lady Apathy. My bloodthirst got the best of-"
Tabitha doesn't finish her statement as she passes out. Lady Apathy shakes her head.
Devereaux: "Get them to the healers. If either of them die tonight, every healer and soldier in this arena will join them."
Soldiers rush to the sides of Tabitha and Zareth to get them to the back to be healed. Lady Apathy regards the crowd coldly before heading to the back.
Coughlin: "Well, we have to take a break while the ring and ringside area is cleansed. These people bled everywhere!"
Dizon: "I hope Devereaux wasn't including us in that mass execution threat."
Coughlin: "I don't think so, but to be on the safe side, let's pull for both Zolothach and Zareth."
Dizon: "Good idea."
Lilly vs j0ker
Theobald: "This next match is the main event of the evening and is scheduled for one fall! Featuring first the challenger, weighing in at one hundred and forty-five pounds...Lilly!"
‘Grace’ by Apocalyptica plays over the PA as Lilly comes out from the backstage area, escorted by Kronin. The two make their way down to the ring and Lilly hops up to the apron, then to the top turnbuckle playing to the crowd before jumping off in a moonsault landing on her feet, playing to the crowd again. Despite being notified by the light to boo, the crowd cheers for the lithe sorcereress.
Dizon: "Lilly looks ready to kick some serious butt in the ring tonight."
Coughlin: "It's only natural. j0ker mad her pissed off, and you don't piss off someone like Lilly."
Theobald: "And her opponent, weighing in at two hundred and twenty-five pounds...j0ker!"
"Turn You Inside Out" by REM begins playing as j0ker makes her way to the ring. This time the crowd follows as signaled, booing the psycho fangirl out with all their might. She ignores the fans, sliding in under the ring. She blows Kronin a kiss at ringside, nearly causing Lilly to launch at her before the bell rings. Lilly calms herself rather quickly, motioning with her thumb across her throat to signify that j0ker was a dead girl.
Dizon: "A vixen fight! This should be rather interesting!"
Coughlin: "Normally, I would slap you, but I do have to admit. It will be an interesting match."
The two near each other at the start of the match, j0ker going for a Kesagiri chop, but it passes through Lilly which changes to a shadow that comes apart in a black mist. Lilly appears behind j0ker, hitting her with a series of kidney punches, followed by a kick to the spine that sends j0ker chest first into the ropes. As she bounces backwards a couple of steps, Lilly scoops j0ker up on her shoulders and drops her to the mat with an Electric Chair Drop!
Dizon: "Does j0ker seem slower in reaction times?"
Coughlin: "She does. I don't doubt that Lilly may have done something behind the scenes."
Lilly rips j0ker up off the mat, dropping her back down with a snap mare. j0ker gets to her feet and turns around to be greeted by an Enziguri!
Dizon: "Sheer dominance shown by Lilly!"
Coughlin: "Goes to show, never mess with a woman's man."
j0ker slowly sits up, shaking her head to clear the cobwebs. Lilly comes behind her to pick her up, when j0ker grabs Lilly by the back of the neck, and-
Coughlin: "The Red! Out of nowhere, j0ker comes back with a big move!"
Dizon: "That's going to put a dent on any singing career Lilly might be considering."
j0ker pushes Lilly into a sitting position and applies a Pentagram Choke. She leans back pulling on the leg she has across Lilly's throat. The ref yells at j0ker to break the hold before starting to count, and just before reaching 5, j0ker releases the hold. She brings Lilly to her feet, hits a scoopslam, and leans on the ropes to blow a kiss to Kronin at ringside. He just shakes his head in disgust.
Coughlin: "j0ker really taking a chance here to flirt with Kronin. Her back is turned to Lilly right now!"
Dizon: "True, but she's down, or not."
j0ker turns around in time to see Lilly running at her for a spear. She catches Lilly, lifts her up as if for an inverted atomic drop, but changes it into an overhead slam. She follows this with a facewash, slapping Lilly around the face with a laugh.
Dizon: "Is this a good idea?"
Coughlin: "No."
Lilly sits up, but j0ker keeps her down with a Kesagiri chop. This is followed by applying the Stranglehold Gamma.
Coughlin: "That looks like a strange move, but it seems effective enough."
Dizon: "Why is it called a stranglehold is she's put the back of Lilly's neck in a vise grip?"
Coughlin: "No idea."
Lilly tries reaching the ropes, but is just a few inches shy. j0ker laughs.
j0ker: "What man would want you after I break your neck? Maybe I can take Kronin home with me! Can you imagine? A God inside of me instead of you?"
Lilly lets loose a scream of rage and both of them slide the few inches before a bewildered ref so that Lilly can reach the ropes. The ref shrugs and informs j0ker to break the hold. Lilly jumps to her feet at the same time as j0ker, and knocks her flat with a Showstopper kick.
Lilly rushes to the top rope, looks to Kronin before holding her leg high in the air, and coming down across j0ker's throat!
Coughlin: "The Flying Firecrotch Guillotine Legdrop! Lilly's going for the cover!"
One...Two...Thr-j0ker kicks out!
Dizon: "Firecrotch?"
Coughlin: "I don't name them. I just report them."
Lilly pulls j0ker up into a side head lock and goes to do a bulldog, but j0ker slips out of the move. She grabs Lilly from behind, spins her around into a butterfly suplex that she turns into a power bomb! She holds on, hooking both legs for the pinfall!
Coughlin: "j0ker with the Towerfall! Is this it?"
One...Two...Three!
Dizon: "It is it! Wait! The ref just seen Lilly's hand on the ropes! The fall didn't count!"
The ref tells j0ker that the match will continue, she threatens to slap the ref, but it doesn't change his position.
j0ker turns around and takes a Gypsy Kick right in the side of the head! Lilly drops to go for the cover, but is greeted by a white mist. Lilly rolls away from j0ker to her knees, already swaying as if ready to pass out.
Coughlin: "The sleep mist! The ref didn't see it!"
Dizon: "Lilly is down, shouldn't j0ker be going for the cover?"
While Kronin is slapping the mat for Lilly to wake up, he turns and sees too late as j0ker catches him in the face with a baseball slide drop kick. She rolls out of the ring , landing on Kronin's pelvis in a sitting position. She leans down, pulls up her mask a bit, and kisses the shocked Kronin passionately before dry humping him.
Coughlin: "Has she completely given up her senses?"
Dizon: "Lilly is out, I suppose she thinks that she can do what she wants."
Coughlin: "I don't think this is the case. Look!"
Dizon: "Oh wow."
Lilly stands up, still woozy, and looks around for j0ker. When Lilly sees her on top of Kronin, she runs at the ropes, diving through them to land on j0ker to bring her face down to the concrete floor next to Kronin's head.
Coughlin: "That was a close call! She could have damaged her man."
Dizon: "Don't piss of Lilly or she might get you in the crossfire!"
Lilly rips j0ker up off of Kronin, holding her hand before delivering a Sanbo side kick-No! j0ker grabs the foot, shifts her grip to hold onto Lilly's hand, turns, and throws her face first into the ring railing! She wipes away at blood trailing from the underside of her mask before pulling it down to cover her mouth again. She blows Kronin a kiss, rolling into the ring. Kronin checks on Lilly, helping her up.
Coughlin: "Both j0ker and Lilly bleeding now!"
Dizon: "Too many kicks in the match. j0ker figured out what was coming!"
Lilly rolls back into the ring and j0ker rushes over to stomp her in the head, but Lilly catches the foot. She hurls j0ker across the ring?
Coughlin: "She couldn't do that under her own power."
Dizon: "The refs have not been doing their proper power checks of late."
j0ker gets to her feet, staggering about a bit. Lilly grabs her, hooks her up as if for a suplex, and then-
Coughlin: "Downward Spiral! Lilly's hooking both legs for the cover!"
Dizon: "This looks to be it!"
One...Two...Three!
Lilly jumps up into the air, elated at her victory. Kronin joins her in the ring and gets a bear hug.
Theobald: "The winner via pinfall...Lilly!"
Coughlin: "Lilly got her vengeance for j0ker's psychotic indescretions."
Dizon: "That's all the time we have for tonight. Stay tuned for when we move onto...where we going next?"
Coughlin: "No idea yet."
Dizon: "Then, folks. Come and find us!"
Trying to Capture a Valkyrie
As the match ends and Lilly and Kronin celebrate the win, moving up the ramp towards the backstage area and leaving the main area before j0ker can try something, Lenneth comes out into the main area from another entrance, battling the guards. As that happens, members of Carthaginian Royal guards begin to flood into the room, surrounding the ring. Lenneth moves up to the ring, entering as the guards surround for now, not attacking anymore at the moment. Lenneth turns and looks up and towards the sea only to see British ship sailing in, seemingly cutting off retreat there.
Dizon: “What the hell?! It looks like Carthage is moving in to capture Lenneth.”
Coughlin: “I hope they’re ready for a fight…”
Lenneth glances up at the owners box where Apathy and Nebriyau sit as she grabs her helmet placing it on her head. “Honorless! In these rings it is supposed to be war by champions. But when you don’t like the result you change the rules?”
Apathy steps out, smirking. “Honorless? This coming from an Asgardian. Masters of changing the rules to ensure they win. No, dearie.. my brother and I wish to have a word with you. Don’t make my Captain’s men get rough with you. Be a good little Valkyrie and submit.”
Lenneth grabs her spear and hurls it with a shout, the spear flying through the air and going through three men, pinning them to the wall before Lenneth draws her sword, turning and meeting the attack of another guard, bashing him in the face with her shield before decapitating him. A second guard gets the pommel of Lenneth’s sword smashed into his face, before getting a boot to the gut and blow to the back of the head that drops him to the mat unconscious.
Coughlin: “Lenneth is putting up a fight, but she’s beginning to get swarmed out there! She needs help!”
Dizon: “Yeah, but who’s going to risk pissing Carthage off by helping her?”
As if on cue, as one guard comes up behind Lenneth, a shot rings out and he drops with a bullet hole between the eyes, the camera pans up to see Kronin with a rifle at the top of the stage.. As he takes a deep breath and jumps down to ringside with Lenneth, manifesting his armor, sword and shield as he does so, a bolt of lightning streaks into the arena hitting one guard, then spreading out to a total of seven guards, sending them flying as Lilly runs out to the aid of Lenneth and Kronin.
Coughlin: “Kronin! And even Lilly are coming out to help Lenneth! It looks like we have our answer as to who will help.”
Dizon: “And it looks like Apathy will not be pleased with her Captain at how his guards are performing…”
One of the guards catches Lilly with a kick to the stomach and throws her into the steel steps. Kronin charges and slices the man across the chest, backing him off. 3 guards come at Kronin, cutting him along the arm and leg but Kronin drops the third with a stab to the heart. Lenneth, continues to hold her own and swings in a wide arc that takes out 3 guards, but a guard ducks under her swing and stabs her in the ribs with a spear. Lenneth looks to the ships and decides she has to risk it, calling out. “VALKYRIES!!! TO ME!!!”
Coughlin: “Lenneth is calling in the reinforcements here, a risky move to be sure.”
Dizon: “But those ships… wait… what the…?”
The Bifrost opens in mid-air and the Valkyries begin to flood the skies, but rather than open fire on them, the British warships at first do nothing. Then Druscilla walks out and smirks.
Druscilla: “Oh bad form, Apathy… Bad form. I must say… for one claiming to be royalty you know nothing of it. Please, allow me as your Regent to educate you… You may fire now, Admiral.”
A section of reinforcements for Carthage’s men comes in through a clear area just in time to be hit by a shell from the massive warship, the men obliterated. The Valkyries, seeing that the ship won’t block them, come to the aid of their Queen and a full fledged battle is soon in progress. Apathy stares daggers at Druscilla who shrugs and looks at her and Neb. “Your mistake was sending a child to punish me for Carthage and not returning the Crown you stole from me! Apathy, you will pay for both, but above all else… you will pay for the suffering my people have endured.”
The British Warships begin to slowly pull back and by now, the battle is going the Valkyries’ way. Lenneth quickly opens the Bifrost and her, Kronin and Lilly retreat to Asgard, the Valkyries following in smaller numbers until the bloody battlefield is all that’s left…
Coughlin: “Well… welcome to the war I guess.. Carthage tried to attack Asgard and Asgard was ready for it.. give a very unlikely assist to Druscilla. What do you think the punishment for that will be?”
Dizon: “Well, it’s clear Druscilla has support. The Brits obviously are not going to follow Apathy blindly. Nebriyau will likely also want to try and salvage the situation. But Apathy.. I don’t know who she’ll be more mad at. Korbin because his men failed, or Druscilla because she defied Apathy.
