{The camera spins around the arena as “The Enemy” by I Prevail plays, before we cut to shots of the current roster. Close ups on Killian Kold, Ethan King, Muru, Zelda, Todd Williams, Taane, Amber Cooke, Dawn Halliwell, Gwen Price-King, Aiden Reynolds, Lizzy Dalmon, Crystal, and finally Shun Lei and Kyle Frye, before a final image of Spike Kane standing in the middle of the ring while the crowd chants “COM-BAT! COM-BAT!” The camera comes to rest on Shea O’Hara and Rob Diamond.}Shea O’Hara: Welcome ladies and gentlemen to FRIDAY! NIGHT! FURY!
Rob Diamond: It’s semi finals night here in Combat, and boy do we have some action in store for you tonight.
Shea O’Hara: But before we get to that, there was a little action backstage earlier in the night.
{We cut to backstage where we see Spike Kane flanked by security as he walks down the halls. After a few turns he slows down as he approaches Killian Kold. Kold looks up with a smirk, and turns to face Spike.}Spike Kane: I’m gonna get right to the point Kold. I’m tired of your shit, I’m tired of you going out of your way to hurt my roster. So, these guys are going to be at ring side for your match, and if you try anything…..anything….you’ll be out of the tournament.
{For a moment Spike just stands there as Killian cocks his head a little, before getting very close to Spike. Security go to move, but Spike holds a hand up to keep them off, Killian slowly chuckles.}Killian Kold: I promise you this, if you take me out of this tournament? There will be nobody left to win it.
{The camera lingers for a moment as neither man looks like they are going to back down, before we cut back to Shea and Rob.}Rob Diamond: Mark my words, those two are going to come to blows.
Shea O’Hara: You have to think though Rob, maybe that’s what Killian wants? He’s pretty open about being a fan of Spike’s and how Spike kicked him out of his school.
Rob Diamond: The carnage that match would cause isn’t worth thinking about. Especially when we have our own show to get to!
Shea O’Hara: That’s right Rob, and we kick off with two new faces, we have Shun Lei versus Kyle Frye!
Rob Diamond: The two newcomers came out like they had something to prove in a very hard hitting and fast paced back and forth.
Shea O’Hara: Here’s how it went down.
{As the referee finishes separating the two of them, they breath deeply, the match beginning to take its toll on both men. They come together once again in the middle of the ring and begin to exchange fists and forearms. Neither man seems ready to back down as they just wail on each other. Almost out of the blue Frye catches Lei off guard with a snapmare that sends the Chinaman across the ring.}Rob Diamond: Frye is going for it! He’s going to take his head off!
{Frye rolls his shoulder before he hits the ropes, charging towards Shun who is getting back to his feet. Shun Lei turns around just as Kyle goes for his patented lariat, but Shun ducks underneath it! Full of steam Kyle Frye slows down and turns around right into the Mark of Cain!!! Shun Lei goes for the cover….ONE! …..TWO! …..THREE! The referee calls for the bell as “Unstoppable” by AK-47 plays. Aurel Karolyi climbs into the ring and raises Shun’s arm into the air.}Shea O’Hara: What a start by Shun Lei there.
Rob Diamond: Both men had a great match, and it really could have gone either way.
Shea O’Hara: Which, unfortunately doesn’t ring true for the next match up.
Rob Diamond: Not at all Shea. For whatever reason Lizzy Dalmon did not seem herself this week.
Shea O’Hara: And the match was pretty heavily dominated by Crystal Hilton. Let’s go to it now.
{Inside the ring Lizzy is on the floor holding her face after the Flashing Lights, but JUST managing to kick out. With a fury in her eyes Crystal storms across the ring and locks in the Withering Rose! Lizzy screams out in pain and is just about to reach the ropes, when Crystal walks her back into the middle of the ring. With nowhere to go, Lizzy taps out.}Shea O’Hara: Dominant display by Crystal Hilton.
Rob Diamond: You know for a fact that whoever becomes the first womens champion needs to be looking over their shoulder for Crystal.
Shea O’Hara: But let’s keep rolling! We had a match with three chaps who fell just short of being in the semi finals tonight.
Rob Diamond: You’re right Shea. Either of these men could have made it all the way, it goes to show the level of competition we have.
Shea O’Hara: Aiden almost earned his spot last week but this week he was in the mix with Lucas and Taane who went to a time limit draw the last time they faced!
Rob Diamond: And it almost looked like the same thing was going to happen this week, as all three men really gave it their all, as if to prove something after being dumped out of the tournament.
Shea O’Hara: Each man almost picked up the victory throughout the match but the ending wasn’t something either of us expected.
Rob Diamond: Let’s do it!
{Aiden Reynolds has just hit Taane with the Gold Coast Cutter, but as he’s covering him Lucas dives in and hits him with a double axe handle breaking the count. Aiden rolls away frustrated as Walker catches his breath. The two begin to go at it, throwing fists, before Lucas hits a big one that staggers Reynolds. As he does so Taane is right back to his feet and both he and Lucas hit Aiden with stereo superkicks! The Aussie goes over the ropes and to the outside, as Lucas Walker and Taane turn to face each other once more. The crowd are on their feet.}Shea O’Hara: These two have the crowd in their hands!
Rob Diamond: The crowd respect them, and it’s deserved too.
{They lock up and Walker shoots Taane off the ropes, but the Polyneasian Prodigy comes back with the Rugby Tackle taking the big man down! Without wasting a moment, Taane drags Lucas back to his feet and hits the All Blackout!!! He goes for the cover, Aiden is climbing back to his feet, using the apron. ONE! …...TWO! ...Aiden slides in trying to grab the leg of Walker to break the fall….THREE!!! Taane jumps to his feet as the bell rings and the referee holds up his arm.}Rob Diamond: I guess that settled that then?
Shea O’Hara: If I know either man, they won’t take it as over until they go head to head again.
Rob Diamond: Speaking of head to head, terrible segueway I know, but it’s time for our first semi final!
Shea O’Hara: Which pitted Dawn Halliwell up against Gwen Price-King. The first woman to join Combat against the last.
Rob Diamond: Gwen only needed one victory to get here, while Dawn has been fighting every week, and is on one hell of a roll.
Shea O’Hara: This match though, would shock everyone as they went the distance.
Rob Diamond: Once again proving how great the Combat roster is.
{Inside the ring the bell has rung and the referee has been informed that the fifteen minute time limit has been reached, but someone from the back is relaying information. Dawn is standing near the referee asking what is going on. Gwen is taking the chance to recover.}Shea O’Hara: Well we’ve reached the time limit here folks.
Rob Diamond: But we’re being told that the match has to continue until there is a winner!
{The referee gets the information and turns to tell Dawn, but as he does Gwen pounces out of nowhere and tries to hit Dawn with the Interruption! BUT DAWN PUSHES HER OFF! The crowd erupt as she does so, Gwen lands on her back and arcs in pain, but in the motion she slowly gets to her feet. As she does so Dawn kicks her right in the gut and then hits the THUNDERSTRUCK! Dawn covers….ONE! …..TWO! …..THREE!!! Dawn rolls to her knees, shocked and overcome as she’s now the first to reach the final. She jumps to her feet and with a roar throws up the “horns” to the crowd who all cheer.}Rob Diamond: Dawn K-....Halliwell is the first person to reach the final!
Shea O’Hara: A deserved place for sure. Dawn Halliwell will go down in history for sure, as she’ll compete for the Womens Heavyweight Title next week at Ascendancy.
Rob Diamond: We’re going to pay per view folks!
Shea O’Hara: The next match to see our first mens finalist was between Todd Williams and Killian Kold.
Rob Diamond: Earlier we saw Spike Kane inform us all, but mostly Killian, that security would be present during the match.
Shea O’Hara: And what a match it was. Todd Williams has been on another level since joining Combat. He certainly seems like a man with a point to prove.
Rob Diamond: Much like Killian Kold. Two men who wanted to go out there and show the world something.
Shea O’Hara: Let’s see who got to the final.
{Todd leans on the ropes, facing the ropes. He pulls at his hair a little bit after Killian had kicked out again. Everything Todd was throwing at him, Kold was just taking. Todd picks Killian up by his long hair, but Killian bursts out and sends a stiff punch to Todd, wobbling him. He kicks him in the gut and sets him up before throwing Williams into the turnbuckle with the BUCKLE BOMB, the crowd react but Todd launches out of the corner and hits Killian with the SWEET DREAMS!!! Both men collapse on the floor, and the referee begins his ten count.}Rob Diamond: We’ve already had one draw Shea, and we saw how that panned out.
Shea O’Hara: That’s right Rob, there HAS to be a winner!
{The referee is at a six when Killian grabs him and begins to pull himself up using him. As Todd uses the ropes. Once Todd is back to his feet he turns to hit another Sweet Dreams, but Killian throws the referee at him. Todd stops just in time as he moves the referee to the side, but as he does Killian kicks him square in the balls! The ref, who was distracted, doesn’t see anything, but Killian doesn’t give him a chance instead he grabs Todd and hits him with the KOLD KILLER! He covers…..ONE! ……..TWO! …….THREE!!! The crowd boo wildly as Killian simply kneels there, eyeing security, and the crowd with a sinister look on his face.}Rob Diamond: Killian reaches the final, but he seriously should have been disqualified.
Shea O’Hara: On the plus side, it seems like the security have prevented any further attacks on Todd Williams.
Rob Diamond: I’m sure the likes of Hungry Jack feel great about that.
Shea O’Hara: So we know that Dawn has made it to the final, shall we see who she’ll be facing?
Rob Diamond: Zelda had redeemed herself and earned the spot, but Amber Cooke wasn’t one to back down. In a surprisingly one sided match Amber seemed to have Zelda’s number.
{Zelda is in the corner, the referee is asking her if she is okay to continue, while behind her Amber is mocking her. Zelda pushes the referee out of the way and charges at Amber, who ducks under the wild lariat and hits a snap shining wizard as she turns around. Zelda drops but is about to get to her feet when Amber catches her with the BOUNCING BETTY! The crowd pop for the move as she covers….ONE! …..TWO! …..THREE!! Amber jumps to her feet and begins shouting at the crowd as the ref raises her hand.}Shea O’Hara: She is a fiesty one, and believes she should be right where she is.
Rob Diamond: I’ll tell you one thing, I’m so in for a Dawn versus Amber match. Just for the profanity alone!
Shea O’Hara: You’re not wrong there.
Rob Diamond: But now it was time for the men to find out who would be facing Killian Kold next week.
Shea O’Hara: In a match that saw the experienced Muru move to only one step away from being a champion again.
Rob Diamond: The only problem is he had to get past Ethan King first, and nobody, nobody, has done that yet.
{Muru is stalking King as he slowly gets to his feet. He goes to grab King for the Spilt Milk, but Ethan sends viscious elbows to the head of Muru, staggering him. King turns around, anger on his face and hits him with the BARE YOUR THROAT in one swift motion! Muru goes down, but King stands above him, motioning for him to rise.}Rob Diamond: King has it won, what is he doing?
Shea O’Hara: Proving a point.
{Muru slowly staggers, clawing at Ethan who simply drags Muru up and sets him up, before….BEND THE KNEE! King covers…..ONE! …..TWO! …..THREE!!! “Hail to the King” plays as the referee holds Ethan Kings arm up, he sneers out to the crowd, but it turns into a smirk as he knows he’s one step away from being champion.}Rob Diamond: King versus Kold!
Shea O’Hara: Dawn versus Amber!
Rob Diamond: Next week at Ascendancy! Along with….a nice surprise, our first ever Dauntless Champion!
Shea O’Hara: See you next week!
