{The camera spins around the arena as “The Enemy” by I Prevail plays, before we cut to shots of the current roster. Close ups on Killian Kold, Ethan King, Muru, Zelda, Todd Williams, Taane, Amber Cooke, Dawn Halliwell, Gwen Price-King, Aiden Reynolds, Lizzy Dalmon, Crystal, and finally Shun Lei and Kyle Frye, before a flash of the three current champions raising their belts and then a final image of Spike Kane standing in the middle of the ring while the crowd chants “COM-BAT! COM-BAT!” The camera comes to rest on Shea O’Hara and Rob Diamond.}Rob Diamond: Welcome ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls…
Shea O'Hara: To Friday Night Fury!
Rob Diamond: And what a show we have in store for you tonight folks. We’ve got a Dauntless Championship match, a womens number one contender match and our Heavyweight Champion, Killian Kold will be addressing Combat as a whole!
Shea O'Hara: Not to mention, Spike Kane himself in action as he and Ethan King battle for the very fate of Combat Wrestling itself!
Rob Diamond: But up first we have an elimination match to determine the number one contender to Dawn Halliwell’s Heavyweight Championship.
Shea O'Hara: A match that put Caitlyn Wright, Gwen Price-King, Kimberley Williams, and Mercedes Vargas up against each other.
Rob Diamond: The match began with a fair feeling out process by the four ladies before they paired off, Gwen and Caitlyn battled while Mercedes and Kimberley did also, before Mercedes took Kimberley out of the match early on.
Shea O'Hara: The remaining three women would then continue to trade blows, as well as momentum before Caitlyn managed to put away Mercedes Vargas and get one step closer to being the number one contender.
Rob Diamond: Let’s see how it played out…
{Caitlyn staggers to her feet as Mercedes rolls out of the ring, the crowd are firmly behind her as Gwen slowly positions herself behind Caitlyn. The crowd try to warn her almost as if it were a pantomine, before Caitlyn turns around and Gwen lifts Caitlyn up to go for the Disciple of Discipline but Caitlyn wriggles off! She spins Gwen around and hits the ropes, springboarding off going for the Turbo Rider Kick! BUT!!! Gwen sidesteps and in a fluid motion she rolls Caitlyn up for a cover.}Rob Diamond: They dodged each others moves!
Shea O'Hara: Gwen could have it here!
{Gwen pulls the tights of Caitlyn as the ref slides through, with him on the other side she lets go of the tights and grabs the ropes instead almost forcing Caitlyn into the roll up….ONE! …...TWO! …...THREE!!! Gwen Price-King is the new number one contender for the women’s heavyweight titles! She rises to her feet and allows the referee to hold her arm up, while Caitlyn slouches in the corner, knowing she had more to give and feeling a little robbed.}Shea O'Hara: I’m almost certain that Combat has an epidemic of people using underhanded tactics to get what they want.
Rob Diamond: No offence, but what do you expect in a company ran by Spike Kane?
Shea O'Hara: Regardless, Gwen Price-King is now the number one contender. I’m sure Dawn will have something to say about that.
Rob Diamond: I bet she will. Speaking of….well speaking, a newcomer to Combat had his piece to say this week, Ryan Fulway.
Shea O'Hara: And he is set to go one on one with the Greatest Show on Earth, Muru!
Rob Diamond: The two men had a great match, and whilst many would expect the experience of Muru to make this a one sided match it was far from it.
Shea O'Hara: No instead Ryan did more than hold his own, and instead took the initiative and the offence to Muru.
Rob Diamond: Here’s how it went down…
{Muru is on the ropes as Fulway just doesn’t give him the chance to recover. Fulway locks up with Muru, and Muru drops to a knee and takes Ryan over with a firemans carry, but Ryan Fulway lands on his feet! He spins around the arm of Muru, and rolls through, taking Muru down, and then rolling through to set up before hitting Muru with the BRAINBITER! Fulway rolls Muru over for the cover….ONE! …..TWO! …..THREE!}Shea O'Hara: What a reversal there by Ryan Fulway!
Rob Diamond: A match winning rabbit out of the hat that really put hit the nail on the head of an impressive debut here.
Shea O'Hara: I think there’s some big things in the future of Ryan Fulway.
Rob Diamond: Now though Shea, it’s time to hear from our Heavyweight Champion, who has been asked by Spike Kane to explain his actions.
Shea O'Hara: I’m sure our viewers will remember that Killian walked out on his team of Dawn Halliwell and Taane last week forcing them to compete in a handicapped match, well…..I guess now we’ll find out why…
{ We cut away from Rob Diamond and Shea O'Hara to what we can only assume is the home of Killian Kold in Springfield, Massachusetts. Killian is sat on a dimly lit porch rocking back and forth in a rocking chair, cradling the Combat Wrestling Heavy Weight Championship in a black cloth swaddle. He wiggles his index finger just over the gold plate speaking in a soothing voice. }Killian: Rock a bye baby in the tree top. When the wind blows Daddy Spike's willpower drops.
{ Killian makes a kissy face at the title. }Killian: If his back breaks, Combat will fall. Down will come Daddy, his roster and all...
{ Killian brings the belt up to his face and kisses the center plate before looking into the camera. }Killian: Shhhhhhhh. You'll wake her.
{ He shows the belt toward the camera before pulling it back in close to his chest still rocking hard in his chair. }Killian: She's so pretty isn't she? Just a cute little baby with so much potential. One day, maybe, she'll be the grandest prize in our whole entire industry... And she's all mine.
{ He sneers a little. }Killian: Mine. Not Daddy Spike's. Not Ethan King's. Mine. Killian Kold's. My baby girl. And I'll protect her with everything I've got. No one is going to put their hands on my baby girl. NO ONE!
{ He looks down at the belt like it just moved in his arms and starts to rock it again. }Killian: Shhh, shhhh. It's okay baby. It's okay. You'll always belong to me. You'll always stay right here in my arms. I know Daddy Spike thinks he owns you but possession is nine tenths of the law and besides, you love me more than him anyways. Yes? Don't you? Of course you do...
{ He looks up at the camera again. }Killian: Oh I do apologize to my partners, Taane, Dawn... It's just that now that I am the Heavy Weight Champion of Combat Wrestling... I don't have to listen to Daddy Spike anymore. I don't have to wrestle when he tells me too. I don't have to be where he wants me to be. I'm the Heavy Weight Champion. The first Heavy Weight Champion. And I know this company means too much to him to try and take this precious little girl away from me. So I will wrestle when I want, where I want against who I want and Daddy Spike? He's going to like it, accept it and allow it.
{ Killian gets a cold look in his eyes. }Killian: Otherwise he can kiss me and this lovely lady goodbye.
{ He gets a small smirk. }Killian: It's a shame really. In the past Daddy Spike would have fought me tooth and nail but now? Now he's going to stand there and take it like the neutered, ineffectual bitch that he is. It's like Daddy always said. Weakness cannot be tolerated.
{ Killian begins to laugh sadistically as we head back to Rob Diamond and Shea O'Hara. }Rob Diamond: He's goddamn insane.
Shea O'Hara: Spike may have made a monster.
Rob Diamond: One he can't control this time. Jesus.
Shea O'Hara: It begs the question, will Spike let Killian call his shots or won't he?
Rob Diamond: The Spike I know wouldn't but... I don't know.
Shea O'Hara: With that being said, and with shivers down my spine….I guess it’s time to turn our head towards the Dauntless Division, where champion Taane will defend his championship against Kyle Frye!
Rob Diamond: In Taane’s first defence he’s going up against another young up and comer in Kyle Frye, who just like Taane has made a fair showing of himself since debuting.
Shea O'Hara: It’s no secret that Taane is one of Combat’s top stars, and that the powers that be are watching him closely, he stepped up last week when Killian left him and Dawn out in the cold, but the pressure of a title defence is something different.
Rob Diamond: You’re damn right Shea, and in this match it went back and forth so much that nobody quite knew what was going to happen.
Shea O'Hara: Of course the Dauntless Rules are meant to be that the champion determines the stipulation of the title defence, but in this instance it’s going to be a straight up singles match.
Rob Diamond: I heard that Taane had an idea for a “Zero Gravity” match, it’s a shame we’re not seeing that tonight.
Shea O'Hara: True, but the match we did see was a standout performance from both men, with each gaining some near falls before things really ramped up at the end….
{Frye rolls his shoulder as Taane slowly gets to his feet, he storms out of the corner and goes for the Lariat, but Taane ducks underneath and rolls right to his feet, hitting the ropes and coming back with a huge SPEAR! Taane flops over Frye for the cover…..ONE! …..TWO! ….THREE-NO!!! NO! Kyle Frye kicks out at the last minute!}Rob Diamond: I thought he had it!
Shea O'Hara: It showed great skill and ring awareness from Taane to evade that lariat and get the spear in, but somehow, some way, Frye kicked out.
{Taane pulls at his hair a little, not quite believing the tenacity of Kyle Frye. Taane slowly gets to his feet, and grabs Kyle by his hair, he begins to pull the bigger man up and signals for the end. He goes to hook up Frye, but Kyle sends a straight headbutt to Taane. Somehow Kyle seems to come off the worst for it, but the hold is broken. The crowd begin to clap for both of these men.}Rob Diamond: Did he just try to headbutt him? Doesn’t he know the rules?
Shea O'Hara: He didn’t break any rules!
Rob Diamond: I meant you don’t headbutt people from the polynesian islands.
{Quickly thinking, Taane tries to whip Frye off the ropes, but Fryre reverses it and instead of whipping Taane off the ropes he pulls him back and hits an absolutely devastating short arm lariat! Taane folds up like an accordian before Frye hooks the leg for the cover…..ONE! …...TWO! …...THREE!!!! The bell rings and the music kicks in as the referee grabs the Dauntless belt from the timekeeper and hands it to Kyle Frye, who raises it into the air, clearly over the moon.}Shea O'Hara: He did it! We have a new Dauntless Champion!
Rob Diamond: That just goes to show that anybody can take anyone down *clicks* just like that.
{Back in the ring Taane is in a seated position and looks both disappointed and pissed off Frye looks to him, and turns to offer his hand. After a few seconds Taane takes it, and Kyle helps him up to his feet. The two share a handshake in the ring, before Taane leaves to let Kyle Frye enjoy his moment.}Rob Diamond: What an absolute display of class by Taane there.
Shea O'Hara: He’s really growing into his role both in this company and in this business.
Rob Diamond: It helps when the business is in your blood, but, congratulations to Kyle Frye!
Shea O'Hara: But now Rob…..it’s time for the main event. Spike Kane against Ethan King, and if Ethan wins? He’ll own fifty percent of Combat!
Rob Diamond: Honestly? I’m not sure how long I’d stay employed with Ethan having any power here….the guys a cu-
Shea O'Hara: -ol guy! Jeez Rob….do you want to get us kicked off the network as well!?
Rob Diamond: No….well, the match started off pretty standard with each guy trying to feel each other out, before Spike began to take control of the match. His wrestling training and experience clear for all to see.
Shea O'Hara: Spike seemed to have the match won when Gwen distracted the referee to prevent the pinfall count. When Gwen tried to hold down Spike’s foot after King hit him with the Black Ice, well, Dawn had had enough.
Rob Diamond: You’re damn right, Dawn Halliwell hit Gwen like a bat out of hell and the two began to fight at ringside.
Shea O'Hara: Which in it’s own way contributed to the end of the match…
{Ethan is looking over the ropes at the absolute scenes at ringside. Dawn is pummeling away on Gwen, who is doing her best to defend herself. Ethan turns to the referee and tries to convince him to stop the fighting. As the referee does slide out of the ring to break it up, Ethan slides out the other side and begins to search for some weapons. He grabs a steel chair and slides it into the ring, before slowly picking up a sledgehammer. He raises it in front of his face and fixates on it for a second, before turning to glare at Spike.}Rob Diamond: Shea...I think I should stop this…
Shea O'Hara: No Rob, if you get involved and it goes badly, you’ll definitely lose your job…
Rob Diamond: Yeah, but the referee is distracted trying to pry Dawn off of Gwen.
{Ethan slides into the the ring and drags the sledgehammer to his feet, but as he does Spike is right there! He kicks Ethan in the gut and nails him with the THUNDERSTRUCK!!! Ethan drops the sledgehammer and it bounces out of the ring, as he flops to the floor. Spike rolls over to cover Ethan as the crowd begin to chant the cover…..ONE! …..TWO! …..THREE! …..FOUR! …..FIVE! …...SIX! ...after the six Spike releases the cover to see that Dawn is almost about to rip the referee a new one himself. Spike tries to shout over to her, as Gwen crawls away from the action.}Rob Diamond: Aww man, Spike turned it around but the referee was too distracted by Dawn after she stopped Gwen from helping!
{As the referee tries to make Dawn go to the back Gwen pulls something out of her pocket and slides it into the ring to Ethan behind Spike’s back. Spike shakes his head as he turns around to go back after Ethan but as he drags King back to his feet, Ethan sends a stiff shot to the privates of Spike Kane before hitting him with the knuckles, BRAZEN EQUALIZER!!! Spike staggers wobbled around, almost out on his feet, before Ethan grabs him, positions the both of them over the steel chair and hits the BEND THE KNEE! He quickly slides the chair to Gwen who hides it, before covering. At this point the referee runs back to the ring and slides in for the cover…...ONE! …..TWO! …..THREE!!!!}Rob Diamond: NO! NO! This is bullshit!
Shea O'Hara: Oh my god, the Kings….the Price-Kings….Ethan and Gwen, they’ve screwed Spike out of fifty percent of Combat Wrestling!
{“Hail to the King” by Avenged Sevenfold begins to play over the sound system, as the referee looking at tad mournful raises Ethan’s arm in the air. Gwen rushes into the ring to celebrate with Ethan, meanwhile Spike Kane is slumped in the turnbuckle, looking absolutely devastated. Ethan smirks at him, before pointing to himself with both hands and mouthing “half” Spike stares daggers at him, shaking his head.}Shea O'Hara: Folks, I don’t know how to say this to you, but Ethan King now owns half of Combat Wrestling.
Rob Diamond: God DAMMIT!
Shea O'Hara: And I’m afraid that’s all we have time for…..I have no idea what it means for the future of Combat Wrestling...
