"Dapper" Dave Sharp, AKA the "Sharp-Dressed Man" looks the part, always groomed to perfection and wearing an eclectic yet fashionable array of clothes both in and out of the ring. "90% retired" as he likes to say, he signed with Empire wrestling to provide colour commentary though has a "never say never" attitude to returning to the ring. In his heyday in the late 1980s and early 1990s he was a self-assured and arrogant "pretty boy" heel, and won titles - as well as the hearts of many female fans - up and down the country.
Partnered with Gus Behringer in Empire, he was briefly replaced by Dan Flicker for that promotion's final couple of shows after new owner Miranda Graves fired him. Inexplicably, Eddie Mason made sure to hire Sharp back when he founded Pro Wrestling Alpha.
